Trattoria Settebello – GloucesterFantastic food as always. I highly recommend leaving room for dessert! Warm welcome from Sam and her team
Wye Valley Catering – ColefordCame for a festive picnic and even though the food we had was nice, the service was extremely slow and didn’t get everything that was listed on the festive picnic menu. It was almost as if the festive picnic and afternoon teas were mixed. On arrival, there was a picnic hamper on the table with just crackers in so became irrelevant as soon as you took out the crackers. We had soup (delicious), had a mix of sandwiches (nice, but thought it was meant to be cheese and chutney), only had 2 mince pies instead of 4. Had to ask for the brownie tree as I don’t think we would have had it if we didn’t ask. Didn’t have pigs in blankets (although had a sausage roll which I know is part of the afternoon tea order). Kids food was all deep fried making it all the same colour. As mentioned the service was very slow and it wasn’t like it was busy. If you asked for something it was as if you were ‘putting them out’ No spoons were bought to the table for puddings and teas/coffees. Disappointing as I do love the Codrington Arms.
The Codrington Arms – Chipping Sodburydelicious roast in a lovely little village with very attentive staff
The Masons Arms – CirencesterAmazing food we all loved it thank you.
The Codrington Arms – Chipping SodburyWe went out as a family of 4 adults on a Monday night at the beginning of December, table booking was for 7pm. We arrived at the restaurant just before 7pm and were immediately shown to our table and handed main menus, drinks menus and specials menus. There was a lot of choice throughout the menus and all reasonably priced. The service was polite, friendly and on time and the quality of the food was amazing, there were no complaints from any of us and it was compliments all around. I would definitely not hesitate to book here again. Quality food and great service in a clean and comfortable environment.
Trattoria Settebello – GloucesterThe food and service was fantastic. Childrens portion sizes were good and the staff were super friendly and helpful.
The Croft Restaurant – CheltenhamSunday lunch was absolutely spot on, our beef was cooked to perfection and having the whole joint to self carve was a nice touch. Roast and new pots along with the veg was also well cooked. Service was efficient and friendly and the food was piping hot. For us it is the best Sunday lunch in the area by a country mile.
Wye Valley Catering – ColefordThe best Sunday roast I have eaten out for a LONG time! Everything was very good quality and beautifully cooked, vegetables cooked to perfection and the cauliflower cheese was particularly good. Well priced. Service was friendly and efficient, and the pub is attractive and comfortable. Will definitely be returning!!
The Masons Arms – CirencesterFantastic Sunday lunch. The beef was absolutely melt in your mouth. What a wonderful way to serve the Sunday lunch and meat. It all came in dishes and the meat you could carve yourself. The food was very tasty and served hot. The service was very friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend this place to others and we will definitely be back. Thank you.
Wye Valley Catering – ColefordWe had a fabulous night out at The Miners in Sling last night. The food was plentiful, beautifully cooked, and was enjoyed by the vegan, te Coeliac, the vegetarian and all the others on the table. They restaurant took the trouble to provide vegan bread, gluten free bread, and granary bread - a lovely touch. We were a group of 7, and a little cramped on a table for 6, especially with each of us having cocktail glasses, water glasses and wine glasses. There was difficulty in getting the potato and vegetable dishes on the table. That aside, we will definitely be back. Starters main course and dessert for £30. Can't complain about that. Duck pate was gorgeous. Venison sublime.
Wye Valley Catering – ColefordBest restaurant around, great service every time, steaks are great and the metre long pizzas are a party piece and taste brilliant. Lovely cocktails too
Trattoria Settebello – GloucesterThe food was delicious and the service excellent
Trattoria Settebello – GloucesterBooked The Miners as it is local to Clearwell Caves which we visited for Christmas event. Arrived 1/2 early but host said 'no problem 'and we were welcomed . The Miners has a lovely ambience ,the exterior does not do the interior justice, not meant as a criticism, just an observation. Decor and furniture has a welcoming warmth to it as did the host. I had a smashing Ham ploughman's, other members were very happy with there Scampi, Haddock, or Burgher, mine washed down with a warming , Tennessee whiskey, all in all a lovely experience in relaxed surroundings and good value for money, would not hesitate to return ,especially for the 'pot luck' events which represent exceptional value for money.
Wye Valley Catering – ColefordI am delighted to find your request for a review following our lunch with you on Saturday, 11 December - of which we are still living on the memory! The delicious food and service is reliably good - I don't know how you do it! We have been with you on previous occasions to meet up with family, or to break a journey - and have similarly good memories.
Wye Valley Catering – ColefordExcellent food, very good service and great value for money.
Wye Valley Catering – ColefordA small group of us went for our annual dinner. Food and waiter was faultless. Several people had the pizza which was quite on the large side, and was given a box to take home what they could not eat. Everyone else had various dishes which all went down very well, with many positive comments. All in all a great evening.
Trattoria Settebello – GloucesterSpent a lovely evening with my family celebrating my birthday. Staff were so accommodating and attentive. The metre long pizza with our choice of four toppings were delicious. The calamari starter were cooked to perfection .
