Came for a festive picnic. The soup was incredible absolutely delicious. The mulled wine was lovely. The sandwich’s were a bit stale and only cheese and pickle available. The pigs in blankets were very cold which made the bacon a bit chewy and the crisps were a very bland selection. The prawn cocktail jars were cute. Overall I think this could be a lot nicer if there was a bigger selection of sandwiches and nibbles. It did seem rather expensive for such simple and cheap to supply food. The service was top notch tho and the staff were very attentive.

Firstly I wasn't gonna write a review but as you emailed me I decided to let you know I wasn't at all happy with my Calzone even at the 2nd attempt. 1st one had anchovies in which wasn't meant to be in the one I ordered and I really don't like. The 2nd one had more dough at each of the ends (about 2/3rds of the Calzone) than it should have had and the filling had loads of cheese and not much meat and was barely warm. The starter was £10 and defo not worth it and also luke warm. Calzone is my go to meal when I eat Italian so I know how it should be cooked and this was definitely not up to even a basic standard (either of them). I definitely won't be back but it seems my colleagues enjoyed their meals so you can decide for yourselves????

The food was well presented of excellent quality and very ample portions. We were somewhat late , but the staff coped brilliantly with the situation and we were never allowed to feel hassled, despite the inconvenience we inadvertently caused. A really first class experience and excellent value for money . We will be back.

We had a lovley meal Monday night, fantastic food , the haddock, burger , curry were amazing. And the soup is always my favourite. Well worth a visit.

Wow, words can not justify the evening meal we had at The Miners Sling on Monday 6th December, it was fabulous from start to finish. It was pot luck Monday but we were able to have everything we had asked for from the menu. Each course superb, fantastic flavours, beautifully presented, fresh and piping hot. The service was excellent, could not be faulted. Restaurant was full so added to the already buzzing atmosphere. Would highly recommend a visit, well done to all and thank you for a lovely evening.

Absolutely fabulous. From walking in and it having a very welcoming environment to the quality of the meal which was excellent. The services was fantastic, and I really like the eat local approach. Having details of the food miles really added something extra. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or return.

What a treat! That's the second time we've got up early on a Sunday to make the 1 hour drive to Bourton-on-the-Water especially to have breakfast here. And it won't be the last. Thank you!!

Another fabulous meal at The Miners Arms, Sling. Party of three - two vegans and a vege and we each had a different and delicious meal - the mushroom risotto was a big hit and staff kindly allowed us to relocate to the fireside which felt super cosy - and much appreciated by the dog! Friendly staff and great service. Thanks for another lovely evening.

Once again we had a lovely meal. The pub was very quiet on a Thursday early evening but it was very welcoming and warm and we received excellent service. We had a very relaxing time.

The Miners has always been one of our favourite pubs - the one the kids insist on going to when they are up from London. The dog loves it too. We were particularly impressed by our lunch yesterday, everything extremely tasty and beautifully presented. Pics of the 5 ways to Christmas/chocolate puddings have attracted several local ‘must go there’ on SM - hope they do. Thank you for another lovely meal under very trying circumstances.
