Great food - great service. Cannot wait to go again!

Fantastic Sunday Pork lunch, the gravy lived up to the name of 'awesome gravy'. Will definitely return for another meal soon. Friendly staff, with the right level of interaction.

Enjoyed an excellent meal at the Miners. We chose the £10 for two courses menu which is a special offer at lunch on Thursday and Friday. The soup was delicious and the rolls were tresh and warm. The main we had was fish and chips. It was a large portion which was well cooked and presentation excellent. The staff are always attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend having a meal here.

The Miner's Sling: another excellent vegan lunch beautifully presented. The vegan tart was colourful, flavourful and served promptly and with courtesy. The lightest and crispiest batter on the tempura was delicious.

My friends and I had a meal here last night. It was all delicious. Service was attentive and friendly and real value for money Would definitely recommend and would go again

We had lunch for 5 adults with a dog to celebrate my friend’s 50th birthday. We found the menu to be amazing and could have ordered everything. It was nice to see a limited menu and info on the back detailing where the food was sourced from. When the food arrived - we chose Pork Belly, Scampi & beef blade dishes - amazing is how we’d describe the food, very tasting and beautiful presenting. Desserts were also amazing, again lovely in presentation - my friend had 5 reasons to enjoy chocolate - amazing. The service throughout our dinning could not be faulted, staff all very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend a visit, you would not be disappointed. If we lived closer, would be somewhere I could see us eating quite frequently.

Fantastic meal for my husbands birthday. Food great , each given a complimentary glass of Prosecco . Very attentive. Took my granddaughter to see the big pizza oven.

Food choice and quality was excellent as always !! Booked for Sunday lunch for our wedding anniversary. Very polite staff. Great experience!!

As a family of four we had the metre long pizza which was amazing. My only critic for the menu is to add a pepperoni pizza as when we eat there we have to order a margarita and add the salmi on. We will be back

Great food, excellent service, and a great way to spend a lovely lunchtime.

Although I had fish (which was fine) my wife could not. We were very disappointed at lack of vegetarian choices. Only one option on menu. When this was raised with manager she was sympathetic and tried to help with another option. However my wife could not eat much of the dish she got. Had good experiences in the past so this was really disappointing.

Had a table booked for 6pm for my partners birthday and from the moment we arrived the staff couldn’t have been more attentive.The atmosphere was great, food amazing and waiting staff we always on hand to keep the drinks coming. If you haven’t been before, why not? Would not hesitate to recommend this place. Will definitely be heading back soon.

The food was really good but the service was shockingly slow - over an hour to come and we one of only 2 tables Also the serving staff were not aware of simple questions like soup of the day or pie of the day so had to go and ask making things even longer So disappointing as the food here is good and very reasonable
