Went for Sunday Lunch, Food was superbly cooked and plenty to go around. Will definitely be back again

Booked for lunch at 1 for three and a newborn we had a lovely space right at the front of the restaurant and plenty of room for the buggy, the food was lovely good portion size and great service. We will return soon.

Had a lovely "Croft" breakfast. Was a very nice setting.

Popped in for a coffee and cake not knowing what to expect. Well, my husband had a huge slice of lemon and elderflower cake with a glass of mulled wine and I had a toasted tea cake plus a hot chocolate with Bailey's, marshmallows and cream. Everything was delicious and as they were very Covid safe, I would thoroughly recommend them and would definitely go again when we next visit the area.

A friend and I visited for lunch; I had been told that the food was delicious and it certainly was. We both had the belly pork which was tender and succulent with wonderful crackling on the top. The mashed potatoes were creamy and moreish with a good choice of vegetables. We followed up with creme brulee (my all-time favourite dessert) and it was one of the best if not THE best I've ever had, served with ginger baskets, ice cream and fresh fruits - a superb dessert. We shall definitely visit again and we'll spread the word of such a find in the beautiful Forest of Dean. The staff were friendly and welcoming

Lovely location with picturesque buildings which make for an ideal window setting. Staff are very attentive and food and drink was served promptly and was of good quality. Price of the service is highly competitive considering the location and would happily recommend to anyone who is visiting the Cotswolds

Good food, cosy atmosphere and very lovely staff.

We booked the Talbot for lunch after reading the positive Trip Advisor reports... And we were disappointed. It was OK... But no more than that. We had a fish and chips, two pies and a salad. It was all fine.....just nothing exceptional. The staff were very Covid safe, but at the expense of any atmosphere in the place. I'm sure we could have done better in Stow tbh.

What a little gem in the forest.the night my wife and myself and our two friends visited we had a wonderful meal with great service we will visit again very soon

Absolutely impressed yesterday with our roast dinner. We had heard really positive feedback before we came and we was not disappointed. Excellent manner from all staff and the food is 5 stars. Well done. The only thing I would ask differently on our next visit is to replace the cauliflower cheese bowl with another bowl of vegetables as neither of us like cauliflower cheese. Well done to everyone x

Food as always amazing, as was the service. Felt extremely safe given the current climate and will definitely be booking to return again soon. Really can’t fault the Miners .

This is the best place for a meal I have ever been . We could start with the food but I can't when you make a reservation. you get the email back to confirm it. The on the day the staff are so nice and polite .we have gone on different days for food and it is fantastic. (Steak or sunday roast)they can't do enough for you .the price is good to I can't see how they make money .the place is always full . Thanks its the best place. In the Forest of Dean.

So good to be back with you. As always the service and the food were excellent. And good to see Sam looking so slowly m and so well.

After shamefully walking out of two other restaurants already in Bourton on the water because they weren’t up to standard (yes, we’re fussy) we were overjoyed to finally come across The Croft (and so hungry) and it was worth the wait! The food was great, we had two of possibly the best burgers we’ve ever had and the staff were exceptional and so friendly! Next time we’re in Bourton we’ll be heading straight to the Croft!

My husband Trev and I had a really delightful meal on Friday 9th October. We liked the fact that it was locally produced as far as possible, tasted wonderful and was well presented. Covid restrictions handled well.

A great welcome in difficult conditions with excellent service and food, will be again, thank you. Best sunday lunch I have had for a long time.
