Balti Hut – Colefordtop class
Imperial Hotel – StroudThe food is always good though the starters some what small. This is always forgiven by the time the main course has been devoured!!
Flynns – CheltenhamDecent menu, excellent food, you can bring your own bottle- works out even cheaper.
Kashmir Restaurant – CheltenhamIn the centre of Cheltenham, but somehow tucked away, this hidden jewel is worth seeking out. If you want atmosphere and a fun night out, this is the place to go. The staff are really enthusiastic about their work and now and again burst into song! We had to wait a while for our food, but didn't mind as we soaked up the ambience and nibbled our free olives. I had the cannelloni which was very tasty. My boyfriend had penne putanesca, and commented on the perfect sauce. We also had a shared starter of calamari, prawns and whitebait and half a graffe of red wine..... and change from £30! For the money, the food was excellent. Nothing too fancy, just fresh, hot, traditional italian. We intend to go back next week and take some friends. Highly recommended
Gianni Restaurant – CheltenhamThe Oldstone Restaurant is a small intimate restaurant in the centre of Nailsworth. The owner had previously been the Head Chef of a five star level restaurant in the West End of London. Both the quality of the food and the service are excellent and at a very reasonable price.
Oldstone Restaurant – StroudIf you want value for money The Lawns is the place to go. A carvery Mon-Sat is £4:49 and drinks are beer under £2:50 and a bottle of Harveys Shiraz £5:99. The Lawns is a really clean friendly pub-restaurant which i am sure my wife and I will return to many times.
Lawns Inn – Chipping SodburyAfter major refurbishments the cross inn is now an excellent place to eat and drink the new landlord is committed to quality and service a pleasant environment all-round
Cross Inn – StroudA Very Roomy Restaurant With Great Service. Slightly Over Priced, But worth It. My Rating, 9/10.I Am Only 11 Years Old and haven't been to many Indian restaurants yet, but I recommend this one.
Tudor Raj – Chipping SodburyWow! In a word Fantastic. In two words ˜Fantastic, Fantastic'. Did I mention this place is Fantastic? We have been to Gianni's some time ago and seemed to recall having a good time and a first class meal. So, we looked forward to our return in July 2007........and we were not to be disappointed. The prices seemed to have gone down, the ambience and enjoyment levels were electric and the quality of the piping hot food was exceptional. We had the olives, mixed salad and a selection of seafood to start. The chef must have just gone out into the garden to pick the green stuff - it was that fresh. Surely he didn't have time to catch the beautiful squid and white bait as well?! The Pasta dishes and sauces were divine. A word of warning. They do NOT do Pizza. Chatting to one of the head waiters, he explained that they do actually cook Pizza's for staff meals but they felt it was not up to the highest standard they wanted for the public - apparently something to do with the correct type of oven needed. We have since recommended it to many people and will be returning there shortly.
Gianni Restaurant – CheltenhamA wonderful country pub,in a very peaceful setting.First class service and lovely food. One of the best Sunday roast lunches I have ever had. I would and will recommend The Glasshouse to everyone.
Glasshouse Inn – GloucesterMy family and I eat here all the time. The staff are friendly but more importantly the food is excellent and the portions are HUGE! I defy anyone to finish their enormous bowl of food. You really can afford to go to this place on a fairly regular basis at just over £5 a head.
288 Bar and Wok – CheltenhamMy family eat here quite regular, they are happy to adjust the menu slightly (peas instead of beans for kids). Try 2 eggs Wiltshire ham and chips, simple food at reasonable prices and they will go out of their way to make the customer happy. My wife would recommend the roast, or the curry.
Rose and Crown The – Chipping SodburyOne of Tewkesbury's best kept secrets. Family run restaurant. Great food, good service and friendly atmosphere. Well worth a visit.
Culinaria – CheltenhamHad the best pub food I have had in years. Everything tasted so fresh. Busy, busy pub with a great atmosphere and friendly service
Cock Inn – GloucesterThis was our first visit to a Thai restaurant and we were extremely impressed with the quality of the food, the presentation, service and overall ambience. The restaurant was full and everyone seemed as happy as we were. Would have no hesitation recommending Thai Emerald as we are intending to go back very soon.
Thai Emerald Restaurant – CheltenhamThe Food was absolutely delicious, i would definitely recommend this restaurant
The Stable – CheltenhamFantastic Thai restaurant. Lovely atmosphere and food. They also do a very nice lunch menu. Two courses for £6.90 I think. Has a large garden you can release your children into! :o) with seating outside. Not sure if smoking is allowed here? But thankfully inside is smoke free! :o)
Thai Basil Restaurant – ThornburySunday Butcher Boards available 12pm-4pm.
