Couldn't fault anything this place had to offer. Arrived to a warm welcome, service was amazing. Interaction between staff and our children was nice to see which made our kids laugh, all in all a great place to visit.

Booked a table with ease using the online booking system. The pub was clean, nicely decorated, we were seated immediately and had drinks served within 5 minutes. When it came to ordering food we had an issue as the children’s menu differed from the website which we had already looked at before booking. This meant my little boy couldn’t have what he wanted, he chose something else but we were a little annoyed. The food came quickly and was absolutely beautiful! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal which was well presented and cooked to perfection. Very reasonable prices and we would absolutely go again.

The roast dinner was lovely. Needed some background music to create atmosphere.

Wow the food here is gorgeous! This is the nicest place we have been to eat. We ate here twice whilst we were away. The plate sizes are big so much so there was literally no room for desert! And we usually always have dessert. Wish this place was near to where we live. Staff were really friendly too! Would absolutely recommend this place to everyone!

This was our third visit and we haven’t been disappointed yet…..great value for money, Guinness for the husband, and the service is always faultless, welcoming and friendly. We’ve had the Sunday roast, fish & chips and steak & ale pie-all were delicious!

Can’t recommend highly enough! The food was 10/10 and service was equally the same. We were staying in Flookburgh and went here for dinner. Dog friendly also which was fab for our wee pup. Would definitely return if we were in the area again!

Excellent as always. Food and service great. Went twice while on a week stay at Haven, The hunters chicken best ever and the sea bass is to die for! Highly recommended. We will be visiting again.

The food was very good, with a nice variety of options you don’t often see on a typical pub menu — a real positive surprise. Unfortunately, the overall experience was let down by the service. Staff forgot to take our food order initially, didn’t bring cutlery, and seemed unsure about the dishes when they arrived — asking who ordered mash when both meals clearly came with chips (and no mash had been requested). The atmosphere in the restaurant also felt inappropriate for families. Some customers were walking around in bikinis in front of small children, and there were people at the bar shouting and being rude, with staff members joining in the behaviour instead of managing it. It’s a real shame, as the quality of the food shows potential, but the service and environment need significant improvement.

Excellent service from welcoming and helpful staff, would recommend the pub and its facilities to anyone. Food quality, choice and value for money was exceptional, I really can’t fault anything.

Amazing pub set in a quiet location. The pub is pet friendly. I like how they have split the pub between 2 different sides, the dine side and social side which has 4..... Yes 4 dart boards with a pool table. The bar and food service was brilliant. Highly recommend to all visitors. I would like to say a massive thank to Josh who looked after us and his little side kick James. Also if you catch it when the weather is good, it has a lovely beer garden. Best to book up on the website for a table as It can get busy. Complimentary to the chef who I never got to meet. Keep up the good work. See you all again soon

Having book a table for 6 people on the 17th June 2025. The gent who was serving drinks and booking you to be very rude it was like it was to much trouble. Having orderd our food it was a long weight for it to arrive and it was not that good. Some of us orderd puddings. I orderd a strawberry sundae and all it was strawberry ice cream with a bit of cream on top. The other puddings were apple crumble and there was that much butter in the crumble it was running everywhere in the dish. When we tryed to get another drink the barmen was to busy having a laugh and joke with his friends in the bar. Having used this pub the year before where we found it to be very good we where very disappointed in the service we received and the quality of the food served to us. How it is run now we would not recommend anybody to go here. Very disappointed customer

Had a lovely meal first time we went last week so decided to go again. Unfortunately that was not good, husband order a starter of soup with bread, we also ordered mains at the same time. The soup was nice but the bread had mold on it, he had already eaten one piece before he noticed. I told the guy(owner I think) he just looked and took it away, no apology or anything, I told him we didn't want the mains and paid for the drinks before leaving. There was no kind of acknowledgement, apology, remorse. He just wasn't bothered, hence to say not going again
