It was the first time we went there it was a party of 8 the staff was lovely and friendly and the food was to die for we ended taking a doggy bag back with us we live in Cambridge so we are coming back in September for the bike show on a Thursday night the place was also lovely ty you for a lovely night and it was value for money as well

We booked for a Thursday night not realising it was their weekly bike meet also on that day. The car park was closed off for this meet leaving only a few spaces for their normal dinner guests which was disappointing. The food was delicious and was served quickly We had a new waitress who got our order wrong, and was still wrong even when the Manager re-took it, but we didn’t complain as it tasted really good and was decent portion sizes.

First time visiting will definitely be visiting again food was amazing and great value for money

Overbooked to the point you couldn’t enter the car park. Absolutely crazy to run a business where your customers can’t access. No contact from them at all.

Amazing venue. Fantastic food and atmosphere a great end to our holiday we really enjoyed the evening with the live band outside before dinner. Would recommend

Food was amazing! Better than we anticipated. Great value for money. Beautiful settings and great atmosphere. A little chilly tho as we sat next to the air con. 10/10 would recommend.

Whilst the serving staff were really lovely orders were wrong and we had to chase for missing dishes and steak was not cooked as requested and hot dog and subsequent pudding was also incorrect. The wait time was almost an hour for the food to arrive and we were there two hours just for a main course and one desert. The food that was served and was correct was delicious. The cheque was incorrect and had to be rectified. Disappointing visit overall.

Service was great. Vegetarian options were not so great. Vegan options on the menu come without cheese or coleslaw- but no option to have it if vegetarian? Got just two dry burgers with no sauce and no cheese. Pretty disappointing. Especially when the meat options are so good.

Have been here many times really good food and nothing to much trouble for the staff. Can’t wait to book again

Service, food, venue... everything was amazing! We absolutely loved coming to this beautiful restaurant on our holidays, in fact it was that good we went back again twice!

Service was absolutely wonderful. Couldn't fault a thing. We was shown to our table, told how long we expected to wait for our meal to come out. Even got an apology from the waitress as there was a lot of noise and kids around us as me and my partner was there on a date. Something which was out of her control. The food was piping hot and the portions was a amazing. Was our first time coming and would recommend anyone to go. Can't wait to visit again

Overall was satisfied although there were a few problems. There was a fly in the coleslaw, chips were cold, one order got mixed up and someone who has celiacs disease and asked for GF food was given non GF food and if they hadn’t have noticed it could’ve been extremely bad. The waitress we had was so lovely and kind tho!!!

We decided to go for a meal at the Smokehouse as a birthday treat for my wife, mainly as we've driven past it many times, trying to get there in the times advertised, 6 minutes from fullers hill, Great Yarmouth, in reality it takes 7 lol. Ample parking available, we were shown to our table, and asked if we wanted drinks, we ordered 5 glasses of fizzy and a jug of water and asked to order a sharing platter while we decided on our mains, we were advised it was best to order all food at once. The drinks arrived but only the water, when we queried this, the waitress said she check, it appeared our other drinks order got mislaid and they arrived. We ordered our food, a sharing starter and 5 burgers for mains, we were told it might be a 30 minute wait, which was fine, after 20 minutes our mains arrived first, we queried why no starter apparently we hadn't ordered one, but then part way through eating we did get an apology for not getting the starter as its order had got mislaid too. Other than this the burgers were amazing, the portions sizes were great too, probably the best burger I've had in a long while, and very good value. We decided to have dessert, portions were a little small, so not as good a value as the mains, but the pecan pie was glorious. Overall I'd recommend the smokehouse as a place to eat, plentiful mains, friendly staff and plenty of parking, will give it a second chance, just to see if our experience was just due to them being busy.
