Had a fabulous meal last Friday. Always greeted with friendly smiles and welcoming chats. Service second to none. Lovely cosy atmosphere, with the fire roaring up the chimney and the bar area beautifully decorated for Xmas. Will soon be booking again.

Lovely Sunday Lunch experience food was piping hot, plenty of vegetables, four delicious meats Yorkshire pudding, sauces & gravy Try the Biscoff cheesecake for dessert it will not disappoint

We always come here for special occasions, had a lovely evening, the food and service was as superb as ever, happy to recommend.

Booked a Friday night for 4. Very busy and we waited a long time for food. Chips were very scrappy as if they had been re-heated. Disappointed as the food is normally great. Probably should have complained but don't want to embarras myself or make staff feel awkward. Has put us off going back.

Excellent service and great choice of food We have eaten many times at Tocketts and never been disappointed. Looking forward to our next experience.

Really pleased with the buffet along with teas and coffees you provided at the funeral wake on Monday Lovely sandwiches and savouries enjoyed by all , friendly staff too and beautiful setting in the conservatory with plenty of seating thankyou

Sunday 3rd November 5:30pm carvery Food amazing and great value Service we booked on line and requested if possible conservatory .when we arrived joined queue to enter and were lead to a table without checking online booking request and placed behind the entrance door and next to food station Very busy very chaotic shame really as food was very good Chaos spoilt the atmosphere Whilst queuing for carvery constantly having to move to let bar staff in and out Entrance is very small and not enough room for people arriving and leaving

We booked a table for 4 approx 3 weeks prior to the night in question, for 7pm, we got there at 6:50 and were shown to a table in the conservatory we were not asked for a booking name just asked to find a table. Conservatory had patio heaters but is was still chilly. Our drinks order was taken promptly once drinks were brought our food order was taken at 8:00pm I asked a member of bar staff if there was a problem, they advised that food wouldn’t be long, another 15mins went by and I asked a waitress if she could find out if our food was coming, food finally arrived about 1 1/2 hrs after we sat down. Food was average and somewhat disappointing given the time taken to serve. The only excuse given was that there were a number of large bookings, we were also a booking! Shame really as we have always enjoyed Tocketts, maybe time to look elsewhere.

Excellent service, great food

Every meal we’ve had here has been lovely. We’ve had meals from the lunch and dinner menu’s and delicious Sunday lunch from the carvery. Really nice food, large portions and very reasonably priced. Our waitress Claire was really chatty, full of fun and a pleasure to talk to. I would recommend booking a table as it’s often full at peak times. Definitely a place to return to for more!!!

Booked for Saturday Evening meal but we were given the lunch menu. Choice I wanted wasn't available so had to choose something else. Asked for chips got mash and raw cauliflower which I left. In hindsight I should have returned meal. Probably won't return or recommend. Tables too close.
