Although the meals are usually really nice when we came the other day we were a bit disappointed. The steak pie was not as nice as it normally is the gravy was far to thick and the puff pastry lid not very good. Also the chips are always soggy but hard on the inside, therefore I ask for them to be really well done, however I always have to send them back to get them done again as they never seem to listen to what you have asked for! My husband says the same about the chips. It does actually put me off getting them, but most of the dishes do come with chips so there is not always any other option!!!

Modern friendly restaurant, we were booked in for 4pm and they were still serving the lunch menu which had plenty to choose from. Not sure why all customers were placed in the same area and not spread out, can only summize it was because it was valentines. Just felt a bit close to other diners. Waitresses very friendly and helpful. This was a birthday meal.

Lovely service, great size portions of food , tastes lovely , great staff and prices

Excellent meal for a party of 8 including a toddler. The staff were pleasant and knew what they were doing. Any requests were dealt with quickly. The food was tasty and hot. The portions are large so it's good value for money.

We go to Tockets restaurant quite often and the service and food are always excellent and first class. I cannot praise the staff high enough.

Not been here for many years but so glad I came back. Lovely cosy setting in the bar area, friendly staff and very nice food. The garlic mushroom starter is beautiful as well as the Korean chicken. All 4 of us really enjoyed our meal and the gin ! Will be back again soon

We have visited Tocketts Mill on several occasions. The food is always of a high quality and the staff are friendly and attentive. Would recommend to anyone.

Top notch food and service

As a regular I was surprised at our lunch on Sunday The stuffing was very well done and I would say burnt on the bottom, the broccoli was rock hard and struggled to cut it never mind eat it and the mushy peas had a horrible taste as if it had been cooked and burnt then transferred into another pan it had a horrible smoked taste We did complain and pass on our comments and we got a apology and was told it was the chefs 1st day The gravy was very thin and tasteless This is our first bad lunch here so was dissapointed and not sure we would return till the other chef returned or leave it afew weeks

The food here is the best in Cleveland. The staff are welcoming and friendly. I had cod and chips this time, the fish was beautiful, melt in the mouth.

I booked a table for 10 people. The staff were very friendly, and the meal was excellent. We all enjoyed our evening . We will keep on going back .

The food here is exceptional, the staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We have had a number of meals from the menu, all which have been expertly cooked. The rib eye steak was cooked to perfection and the Stilton sauce was a dream. The deserts were sublime, the pecan tart was exceptional and the sticky toffee pudding was melt in your mouth delicious!
