We are a group of 17 people who had lunch here in January 2023. The food was very good, the service excellent, and it was a lovely setting and atmosphere. There were 2 issues: one is that the chairs seem a little worn and are very low, so that smaller guests needed to request cushions on their chairs. The other issue is regarding accessibility. The toilets can only be reached via a short set of stairs, which could be embarrassing/humiliating for someone with a disability, especially a wheelchair user. Other than that, we would definitely recommend it.

Always a very enjoyable and pleasant meal out for a Sunday lunch. Definitely the best in the area.

Excellent Sunday carvery, hot and tasty, we were only a small party so had a table next to the cosy log burner. Pleasant helpful staff, would highly recommend.

We went for a meal on Friday afternoon, and although it was busy the service was excellent. The food arrived in good time and was really lovely. Would definitely recommend.

Although the sunday carvery was lovely i'm afraid the charge of £9 for 2 pepsi's is a total rip off

We had a meal Saturday night in the restaurant. Really busy but the staff were very attentive and obliging. Food came in good time. No long waite. Good sized mains and presented well. Had the salmon and it was cooked to perfection. Restaurant manager on hand and overseeing all aspects of service. Would definitely recommend. Will be back soon!.

We had a lovely time at Tocketts yesterday. The Staff go above and beyond. We can't wait to come back. Sticky toffee pudding with honeycomb pieces was a big hit with me. Can't wait to come back. One small thing.. the girl waitresses should be allowed to have something on their ar.s especially in the conservatory. Very cold for them.

Great food as always, lovely atmosphere and staff ***** Only question I have is, would you consider adding a no meat option to the menu!

Visited twice in the last week, first was Wednesday 27th Dec, service, food was excellent, rebooked for 1st January, however this was disappointing, starters were potato skins for wife and I had the soup, skins where great but soup wasn’t so hot but didn’t complain as it was very busy, we both ordered the Turkey dinner, waited for an hour and ten minutes, then where served up a sliced Chicken breast, with veggies, mash was Luke warm, and gravy was almost none existent, again we didn’t complain as it was New Year’s Day and we only booked on New Year’s Eve and understand the problems with getting staff etc, tables were being reconfigured throughout our sitting to accommodate dinners and there families, HOWEVER, I can’t understand why we where told roasts available Turkey, beef, and pork, we should have been told only chicken available, I would not have chosen the chicken at all, there where a few customers complaining for other issues.

Love this place, food and staff amazing

Had a family meal at Tocketts during the festive period. The food was delicious and service was 100% Atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. Thank you to all the staff that worked evening of 27th December. You were all attentive and courteous. Best wishes for 2024

Outstanding food and 1st class service cannot fault

Had a lovely meal last night at Tocketts Mill the food was outstanding , the restaurant was very festive lovely atmosphere, staff really friendly nothing is to much trouble, looking forward to our next visit
