The Cider Barn – LeominsterThe last time we came here was in 2018 as my father in law was a member we came here for a few family meals. What a glow up it has had! We came for a Sunday carvery and thoroughly enjoyed it. What a beautiful place with a lovely atmosphere.
The Causeway Restaurant & Bar – HerefordHad a lovely meal at the cider barn , food is superb service is excellent. Only gripes seats very uncomfortable. Atmosphere great
The Cider Barn – LeominsterWe enjoyed a Saturday lunch at The Cider Barn, on a sunny day in May. The food was delicious, we loved that it was all locally sourced or foraged. The flavours were unique but very tasty, all the elements of each meal complimented the rest - truly amazing. The presentation was great, fancy restaurant food for standard pub prices. Lovely cocktails and drink selections too. The staff were lovely and attentive, and the view over the wildflower field was beautiful - we recommend sitting outside if you can.
The Cider Barn – LeominsterVery enjoyable Sunday Lunch. Good food and attentive staff. Dog friendly with a water bowl provided for them without needing to ask. Located in a converted barn. Unexpected surprise was the availability of reasonably priced frozen meals and desserts for purchase. We have since used one of these on our holiday break and it was delicious.
The Cider Barn – LeominsterExcellent service from the minute we stepped in, gluten free guest was incredibly well catered for - and water provided for the dogs too! Really unpretentious, just purely great quality food and attention to detail The salt beef roast was probably the best roast I’ve had, beautiful rich but delicate beef and generous veggies on the side. The cheesy leeks were 10/10. Very fairly priced considering the quality, we will definitely be back
The Cider Barn – LeominsterVisiting the area for a few days I booked our party of five into the Cider Barn for a Friday night out. We were very happy to walk the half mile or so to the restaurant, arriving a little early but shown to our table to await first a drinks service and then ordering our meals. Most of us had to try the cider, testing at least one of each variety on offer - very refreshing, especially on a warm evening. We ordered some nibbles and then. went straight to main courses. Super tasty, amazing sauce on my poached cod, attentive service and very happy overall. Would highly recommend. Next time I need to go a bit hungrier so I can manage a starter or dessert or both they were hard to resist.
The Cider Barn – LeominsterFantastic venue with second to none views. Staff go out of their way to ensure your experience is faultless. A must visit if you haven’t been.
The Causeway Restaurant & Bar – HerefordMy friends and I had a delicious meal here on Saturday evening, 23rd May. Beautifully cooked and presented, a really special meal out. The waitresses were very pleasant and helpful and the timings perfect. The local cider was delicious too!
The Cider Barn – LeominsterWOW!!!! Second visit for us, the food is amazing Actual vegan and vegetarian food that is intricately flavoured and so imaginative Without doubt the best food I’ve ever had!!! Husband loved the meat options enthusing about the Sunday roast -he loved the vegetables beautifully flavoured and stunning to look at The setting is amazing a beautiful barn with outside seating and stunning views The staff are super efficient and very attentive and welcoming The cider barn is without doubt my very favourite restaurant to visit Thankyou to all the staff for making our anniversary meal a truly memorable occasion
The Cider Barn – LeominsterWe had a wonderful meal with locally produced food cooked with imagination and flair. The beef pastrami was so tender and delicious. Doughnuts with lemon sauce will stay with me for a long time. We sat out on the terrace and watched swallows while we ate. A truly spectacular meal and evening.
The Cider Barn – LeominsterService is amazing, cannot do enough for you without it being invasive. The menu always has something you enjoy, and the portions are perfectly set to enjoy 3 courses without going home hungry. And the food is always cooked to perfection. The drinks are all great quality and that is what the cider barn provides, fantastic quality at reasonable prices, you don’t get quality like they provide for what they charge. We have been going for over 6yrs atleast twice a year sometimes more often and we would recommend to anyone.
The Cider Barn – LeominsterWe loved the food, the location and the staff at The Cider Barn when we had supper there last night Thoroughly recommend it and hope to revisit when we are down this way again
The Cider Barn – LeominsterSophie has been producing wonderful cooking for some time here at the Cider Barn and so in a funny way one's expectations can risk not being met, but Saturday night's meal was really exceptional. The combination of flavours was unusual but perfectly judged, so that one was presented with real 'dishes' that also did justice to the fantastic local ingredients we are blessed with in this area.
The Cider Barn – LeominsterThis was our second visit as a family. The location and setting are just stunning, and the staff are all so friendly, helpful, and genuine. The carvery, lots of choice, good portions, and really lovely home-cooked food. I would definitely recommend; in fact, I have already booked for a few weeks' time. Finally, the staff, we had a small child with us, who made quite a lot of mess under the highchair. We were embarrassed and apologised, our waitress really was so lovely about it, don't worry, she said I will sweep it all up when you leave, it happens! And my granddaughters absolutely adore, and are obsessed with, and want more of the sticky toffee pudding!
The Causeway Restaurant & Bar – HerefordMy husband and myself called in for lunch on our way home, on a cool day to a lovely warm welcoming restaurant . We enjoyed a truly lovely meal, simple but very innovative, I kept telling all my friends about it we enjoyed it so much. Our server was on her own and she did an admirable job remaining very cheerful and friendly, she coped in a situation where sometime 2 or 3 others on duty would not do as well. Sadly we live so far away we can not make it ( our local). BUT should we be in the area again it would be a must.
The Cider Barn – LeominsterNot a first time visit to the gorgeous Cider Barn, but it was the first lunch I’ve had there- and it didn’t disappoint! I have mobility issues and from the moment we arrived we were welcomed with a smile, and a cushion for my seat :) The menu is deceptively simple, but the flavours weren’t! I had my very first potato risotto, and it was delicious. Tender chicken and delicate flavours, it was perfect for a light lunch. We had dessert, even though we hadn’t planned to, and quickly fell in love with the salted caramel panna cotta, with quince, toasted oat thins and chocolate crumb. Fabulous. I don’t hesitate to recommend spending a relaxed lunch here, in the middle of the Herefordshire countryside!
The Cider Barn – LeominsterWe love this place and revisited this weekend for Sunday lunch with our grandson. Lovely atmosphere, useful high hairs and the Sunday roast was sublime!
