The Royal Oak Watford Heath – WatfordBeen 2 Sundays in a row! First week with friends there were 4 couples. We all had a lovely roast dinner. Really enjoyed it so decided to go back the following week with family. Again had roast dinner and chocolate brownie for dessert. Really good will definitely be back. Really lovely friendly staff, not too busy, relaxed atmosphere!
The Royal Oak Watford Heath – WatfordA stunning meal, great service and lovely atmosphere. Always enjoy visiting the King Stag
The King Stag – BusheyReally good value for money , we had the Sunday roast (short rib/lamb shoulder) , by far the best roast I’ve eaten ! The service was excellent, everyone was really friendly and the owner even introduced herself and we had a lovely chat about the pub. Highly recommend!
The Prince George – WatfordThis is is our local pub. The food is always spot on. The staff are lovely and can’t do enough for you. The drinks are aLeah’s good and the atmosphere never disappoints. We are very lucky to live near this wonderful pub

The Horse and Chains – BusheyThis was my first visit to The King Stag and I’ll definitely be going back! So welcoming for a long overdue catch up with a friend and it was nice and quiet at the time.. Really helpful and accommodating regarding my gluten free diet with a lot of choices - ended up having 3 courses that were fabulous. Decor and staff lovely. Highly recommend.
The King Stag – BusheyWe went to the King Stag to celebrate our Sons Birthday. They were so welcoming to us and our two dogs. We had a wonderful window table and an absolutely delicious meal, complete with birthday cake and singing. A wonderfully run pub and excellent chef and staff. Cannot recommend highly enough.
The King Stag – BusheyGreat food and friendly service. Welcoming to the dog too
The King Stag – BusheyHad dinner on Thursday night, it was quiet. I’m sad to say I thought it wasn’t as good as usual. Food was okay, but didn’t seem to have the usual exceptional deliciousness. Cocktails were great. Service was mixed, some did really well, others a bit grumpy and no eye contact. I love this pub, been coming here for years, would be sad to see it slip.
The King Stag – BusheySecond time of coming food was delicious and service excellent.
The King Stag – BusheyGreat staff and completely delicious food. Best Pub roast I've had for ages.
The Royal Oak Watford Heath – WatfordFood is delicious and on a Sunday lunchtime there is a great family atmosphere. Service is very good.

The Prince George – WatfordGreat food, service and atmosphere - super value for money!
The King Stag – BusheyWe eat out once a week and always struggle to find somewhere nice to eat, we extremely fussy when it comes to food and I find 80% of pubs and restraunts never deliver what they promise. I must say that I am extremely impressed with the quality of food and the service we received on Sunday, I also thought the pub looked great with a good selection of beers etc. I will defiantly be visiting again..
The King Stag – BusheyI have always been a fan of the horse and chains, I haven’t visited in a while and was looking forward to what I remembered as a great Sunday roast. Unfortunately the meal was a disappointment appearing to be reheated food from the first sitting, sirloin was well cooked and lots of gristle reheated roast potatoes, veg was the freshest . Not sure if the chef has changed or the owners in last 18 months but the meal was a disappointment
