The King Stag – BusheyLove love the Kings Stag... delicious food, friendly helpful staff and great ambiance.... never disappoints
The King Stag – BusheyWe enjoyed our recent dinner at the Prince George. Lovely food nice atmosphere andgood service
The Prince George – WatfordTerrible food. Had a selection of starters which were ok. The fish and chips had to be sent back due to the batter being thick and chewy. All food very uninspiring and with a big price tag. Would recommend just going for drinks !
The Horse and Chains – BusheyWe thoroughly enjoyed our Valentine’s Day meal. The special menu and regular menu were available which was great, as many restaurants only have a limited menu on such occasions. We mixed and matched our choices, and everything was excellent in every way.
The King Stag – BusheyGorgeous food and cocktails, very friendly atmosphere. Definitely recommend for good night out.
The Prince George – WatfordGreat food and generous kids portions. Thanks
The Royal Oak Watford Heath – WatfordOn Sunday 13th February we had a Sunday roast at the Royal Oak pub. It was beautiful! I had the Pork Belly and it was cooked to perfection. The vegetables were done but not overcooked and the gravy was to die for. It was served on very hot plates which were a great bonus. The compliments also flowed from family guests about the beef and lamb as well. It was fairly priced for the food and service. Well done Royal Oak.
The Royal Oak Watford Heath – WatfordAbsolutely love this little pub been going here for years it’s cosy and so so friendly lovely staff and clientele the food is always delicious and reasonably priced and there’s a great choice of drinks too. Perfect cosy pub for the winter and such a gem in the summer too one of my favourite places to go and so local to us thank you
The Royal Oak Watford Heath – WatfordExcellent Sunday roasts! Others said their food was excellent - Fab food, such lovely friendly staff!! Caring and attentive. Really fab afternoon! Dog loved the attention too!!
The King Stag – BusheySunday lunch 12th Feb. Lovely atmosphere, very friendly, welcoming staff. Our roast chicken was delicious and really enjoyed the pineapple dessert. Our dog loved the complimentary treats:) Will visit again.
The King Stag – BusheyIt’s become our area favourite for us and our two little ones, the food is great and staff always friendly and helpful! Best local sausages for kids, and always nice vibes.
The King Stag – BusheyFirst class service, great food. Definitely worth a visit. John
The Horse and Chains – BusheyLoved the South African menu and the food was excellent. Wish there were some South African desserts! Excellent service.
The Prince George – WatfordFood and drinks were amazing as always- the quiz was soooo much fun!
The Royal Oak Watford Heath – WatfordExcellent friendly service ,one of the reasons we have become a Sunday regular, the Sunday meals are spot on .
The Horse and Chains – BusheyThere was a group of 10 of us and 5 ordered fish and chips and 3 sent theirs back while the others still ate it even though it was over cooked the battered hard and fish quite dry, the roast dinners were the best we have eaten in a pub so hats off to the chef! We ordered 5 teas and got three pits that we were told they would top up, that they did but with no extra tea bag and it was too weak, we ordered 7 coffees after and they were Luke warm and we were given dessert spoons to stir them and told we run out of spoons! For a meal that was quite expensive we felt the service let the place down and we won’t return, to find we had £35 added for service charge was a joke when the service was minimal that they could do, I don’t tip if it’s your job I tip if you do above and beyond your job, and I do the same line of work myself.
The Horse and Chains – BusheySunday Lunch 29 Jan. Tasty, well cooked food. Very good roast beef and sausage and mash at a very reasonable price. There was quite a delay in being able to order due to a large party already there (probably the one in the comments below), but the staff were apologetic and helpful and we were happy passing the time in a very pleasant traditional pub atmosphere.
