Love this pub, atmosphere is chilled and sophisticated. Food is great. We had the burger, I'm not a burger person but his was amazing. We will be back soon. Thank you for everyone making the effort. Toilets are 10/10

Amazing dinner. Staff were all so incredibly friendly and helpful. Food was delicious.

15 of us booked for lunch on Boxing Day. Very friendly staff and impressed how they kept the names of who (pre) ordered what, when serving. Worked extremely well. The food was excellent, only slightly let down by the long wait between the main course and the pudding, but they were very busy. As this was a festive booking, it would have been nice to have had crackers etc on table. However, would definitely go again.

Went for Sunday lunch . Family group of 7. Was a random pick off the internet as a central point for the family who live in all directions. Obviously 1st time visit. You only get one opportunity to make a first impression and the staff at The P. G. cracked it. Most of us had the roast which was excellent and good flavour. Unfortunately there was a little error in that the sprouts were almost cold. We didn't let this spoil our meal but something for the kitchen to note (food rated 4/5 on sprout issue.). Good reports from the burger and curry eaters. Very attentive and pleasant staff. End result we enjoyed our first visit which was the object of the visit.

Daisy was super helpful with organising the Xmas dinner food and service were phenomenal would 100% go again

My annual get together with old school friends we have known each other for over 40 years. The King Stag is the place to go for fabulous food and wine. The mulled wine was the best I've had and the pan fried salmon with truffle fries was delicious.. Merry Christmas to the staff at the King Stag

The food is always really nice and staff friendly and helpful. We have been on several Sundays and it's always busy without being hectic. Portions are varied in size - the roasts and burgers are very generous but the fish dishes are less so however the creamed spinach is an amazing side ! The quality of all dishes is really good .

Booked a Sunday lunch for us and one of our daughters and birthday boyfriend. Place was buzzing,fast and friendly service,polite and professional. The food choices were loved by all,large portions and very tasty. A lovely time had by all .

Went with a friend on a midweek night. Food was excellent, staff incredibly easy going and welcoming and whole place had a really nice vibe about it. Highly recommend but please don't spread the word too far as bit of a local gem ;-)

We had my sons birthday for 16 people. Highly recommend the Sunday roast. Service and food was really great.

The Sunday roast dinner was fantastic. It had amazing flavour and is definitely the best Sunday roast in Watford.
