Visited with friends on a Saturday evening. The pub was busy with a family vibe until around 7.30pm when it filled with a more adult crowd. I had been warned the portion sizes were generous so we ordered starters between two. We had the king prawn’s as our starter and they were delicious. Mains were great especially the beef curry. The meat was very tender and the sauce was full of flavour with a nice heat to it. The music turned loud around 10pm, which dampened our evening slightly, as we had gone there to catch up with friends, hence the 4 rating. I am sure those who like loud music would’ve loved it. The waiter was very informative and chatty, and provided an excellent service.

Great service. Duck salad tasty but dripping in hoisin sauce so far too sweet.

We had such a nice welcome with dog bones and water already on the table for our puppy. Nice good especially the crumble, could have eaten 10!! Thank you Kings Stag will be back for Christmas x

Absolutely brilliant! We were looking for a true British Sunday Roast and this is the place to come.

Lovely food, came out hot. Service was fantastic, nice a friendly. Where we sat was very dark needs a little lighting, unable to read the menu properly. Was a little nosey too but overall was a lovely evening

As always a super visit. Food was great and the young staff are clearly well trained and extremely considerate of customer needs. It was very “dog lively” but I think that’s because we were there on the last Sunday of the month (with my puppy so I can’t complain !!!).

Really lovely meal! We all enjoyed everything. Would've been nice to have a kids menu. Loved sitting outside but some of our party weren't comfortable on the bench seats, so maybe a mixture of benches and chairs would be nice? Strawberry mojito was my highlight, so delicious, and service was great!

Fantastic food and service, thoroughly enjoyed

Really enjoyable evening. Food excellent. The Durban curry reminded me of my mothers( we came from Durban 63 years ago) . Starters were delicious and main courses plentiful and beautifully cooked. Will definitely come again.

Had a large group booking to celebrate our upcoming wedding. Food was delicious and the staff were extremely helpful and attentive :)
