We held a family lunch at the Royal Oak for my son’s birthday. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful or kind with both making the arrangements and serving the lunch. The food was delicious! I would absolutely recommend this venue.

As far as a local restaurant goes this is one of the best. The food is quality from local suppliers and the service is from friendly smiling staff You can’t go wrong booking a table here

Took a punt on this pub yesterday, since my normal Sunday lunch venue is currently under going renovations. Was very impressed, will certainly be back. Lamb and pork roasts were very good. Gravy was exceptional!! Wait staff were without exception helpful and friendly. Even the 'on tap' martini cocktails were great. As I say will be back

My Sister and I had a roast dinner here on Sunday. We ate our meal in the Snug area. When we first went round there we thought we might be forgotten as we were the only ones round there, how wrong we were. The service was 1st class., the waitresses were all young girls and they were polite attentive and professional, better than we have had in very expensive restaurants we have been in. The food was sublime and the gravy was to die for, we will be back . Thank you for making this a wonderful experience. I would 100% recommend this pub. I would 100% recommend this pub
