Normally exceptional food. However the nan kebab thing was a let down. Around £30 for a medium nan, a HUGE mountain of chips, with handful of donna meat, smaller amount of chicken and even smaller amount of lamb sprinkled on the top, may aswell of just ordered chips

Amazing food and service, fair prices for portions. Only let down was a good amount of flies but they explained the reason so can't complain too much

Overpriced for what you get! Reasonable quality but heavy on the side salad with mains/starters Table dirty! Cutlery a bit finger marked, had to ask for table to be wiped clean! First and last visit I’m afraid, better elsewhere and better value

For a bit of a sad looking pub, the food is exceptional, the menu was brilliant and catered for all ages and sizes. We will be back to try other snazzey named meals on your menu

Absolutely amazing meal. Salt and chilli beef parmo was delicious. Followed by a crunchie sundae. Can't fault it. Service was brilliant. Staff were very helpful. Will certainly be back and will recommend.

Have visited a number of time with family each time all Food has been outstanding every dish we have had are 10/10 portions are excellent too. All waiting staff members are friendly and super attentive ,they go above and beyond and create a relaxing and really welcoming environment. Highly recommend will not be disappointed

Seen the food on Facebook so decided to come here for my son’s birthday treat. We weren’t disappointed!! We had the New York Smash Burger, Donner Burger and the Geordie Parmo x2. Absolutely outstanding food. The only problem was I was that full I couldn’t sample the desserts. Will definitely return. Fantastic!

We both had the tacos, rump steak, tempura prawns and belly pork. Everything was delicious and the standout was the belly pork it’s the best we have ever had. Both had cheesesteak for dessert and it was so light and fluffy. Can’t wait for my next visit.

On arrival we were told we had to vacate after 1 and half hours. Some of our party were 10 min late. We ordered food. Veg was frozen meat was lovely but didn't really have time for desert as we were rushed. Slightly disappointed. Staff were friendly tho. Would maybe go back. But not for Sunday lunch

Very poor quality food on my plate but my friend was happy with her choice. I had tempura prawns and she had the wagyu steak burger. There was nothing tempura about my prawns: it was thick, hard fish batter with small over cooked prawns inside. I ate the prawns but left the batter. The chips were okay but my friend ate those so I ended up paying £14 for a few over cooked prawns! The service was excellent though: friendly, quick, polite and helpful. Shame about the food. I won’t be back and would not recommend

Always great food and service we’ve not had a bad meal yet.

Food was very good , nicely presented, and offered value for money. Service was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was pleasant, however some of the decor was tired and some seats were ripped. Tables were clean and tidied quickly. Background music was an acceptable level and genre .

Party of 5 visited. 3 of us repeat diners, 2 newbies. 4 out of our 5 meals were great. We ordered a parmo, a salad, burger, pie and fish & chips. Portions are generous so don't be tempted to get side dishes unless you are really hungry. Staff worked very hard ,were helpful, attentive and pleasant. We didn't have the heart to say that the fish and chips was disappointing. It was as if it had been cooked an hour earlier and kept warm on the plate under a heat lamp. The side of chips also didn't taste fresh. This has never been the case before so we shall not hold it against them. I recommend booking as this place is very popular, even at lunchtime.

Can't fault the food or prices you got loads for value was lovely cooked steak strips to staff was brilliant to keep good work up

A lovely night with great food and service. I highly recommend the tacos especially the tempura prawn one! This was our second visit and we’ll definitely be back.

Wow, first time visiting. Great food and one of the best meals we have had out for ages. We will be back .... already recommended to friends.
