My husband and I visited The Beehive on Monday 29th July. We had booked a table using their booking online which was really easy to use. My husband ordered the Geordie Delight Parmo which was immense and looked amazing. I ordered the Salt and Pepper chicken flatbread which was also immense and looked and tasted amazing. I could not finish it all and took half home in a container supplied by the lovely Lynne who looked after us. I cannot recommend the food high enough and there’s so much on the menu to choose from. Bonus being a warm evening we had a drink and sat in the beer garden before we ate.

Lovely local feel pub with a warm and welcoming restaurant. Sunday lunch freshly made, with top quality meat and trimmings. The Yorkshires are class and the service is 5star. I use to go to The Beehive when I was a kid, 30+ years ago. Great to see Jimmy and his Daughter keeping the place alive and thriving. My Grandad would’ve loved to see the place now and enjoy a lunch with a pint. Get booked in but book at least a week in advance as it certainly is a hot spot. Kids pizza was lush and the chips, both my kids said “best chips we’ve ever had”

Generous portion of food that was well presented and tasted really nice. Got the steak hanging kebab off the special menu, could have been elevated with a sauce of some kind, but it was tasty.

Outstanding food and service for the second time we've visited. The food is of exceptional quality and the menu has clearly been well thought out with fantastic combinations. Our server (a young man) was fantastic throughout our meal and was a credit to the venue! We will definitely be back.

Went yesterday with friend and daughters, My ravioli was okay a bit sickly but think that was just me but prawns and ravioli was nice. Daughters steak was nice but the chips were way overcooked and she left them she got the extra portion of prawns with her steak and they were mushy so she left them also. Which would suggest age or storage from what I've read. This was an over £25 meal it should have been perfect!! My friends daughter had chicken nuggets chips and beans and the beans were sour, they were removed from the bill. My friend got the beef bap and chips and her bap and the veg were fine but again chips were overcooked and she couldn't eat them as too hard. The food is normally lovely here and maybe it was just the food choices we made, Staff are always lovely and friendly and cant ever fault them. The young lad is very friendly and likes a laugh with the customers. Unfortunately the food yesterday just didn't cut it.

Food was amazing. We went on a Sunday, I had the shredded beef roasties and couldn't finish it as the portion was so generous. My partner had the trio of meats dinner. 2 dinners and 2 drinks for £35 so very reasonably priced. Food was served quickly and the staff where very attentive. The only slight niggle was it was very warm in the dinning area and no windows where open.

The food here is amazing. We hit a bit of an issue when we noticed other tables were coming in after us and being served their food and we were still waiting. Having waited 45 mins we asked our waiter what was happening to be told the kitchen was busy with big orders and ours was still going to be 30 minutes. This was a bit off considering the pub was not busy and no big tables in. After waiting another 15 mins, so an hour now to serve 5 people main courses, I asked at the bar and they told me the waiter forgot to hand in our order so it had been forgotten. I appreciate these things happened but it’s not great lying to customers. I did ask if we could have a round of drinks to keep us happy while waiting, which they did provide on the house and applied a 10% reduction to our bill for having to wait 1hr 15 mins for our food. Like I say the food is amazing and this was just a hiccup with the wait, and not their usual standard. We would still return despite that issue.

We often come to the Beehive, and not just for the food which is always 10/10 Fantastic atmosphere, staff are extremely friendly and helpful we always feel welcome Good traditional English bar, with fab food what more could you ask for ? Highly recommend

It's a bit of a trek for us to get to The Beehive but always worth it. Delicious food, good portions and lovely staff. Looking forward to our next visit.

1st time we have been to the beehive and I had booked a table for my dad's birthday and it did not disappoint! The food was amazing everyone complimented at how tasty it was! The service was second to none, everyone was so attentive and friendly. Couldn't recommend the place enough and have already told everyone to go and try!. I can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu!

Quite bland, greasy chips, cheap frozen gyzoas in a fryer for a steep price. Over priced bland food, 1st visit and not a good impression. Staff were lovely and waitress very good although being asked of everytjing is ok every 5 minutes by all the waitresses is annoying.

Went for a meal as first timers, had to wait a few weeks to get booked in. Absolutely blown away with the flavours of each meal. Catered for all of us including the little one. Wasn't a massive wait for food, even though extremely busy. Staff were all polite. Very reasonably priced. Will be back again.

lovely atmosphere and lovely staff. Very accommodating when I wished to change booking numbers despite it being a busy night portions were very generous and food was yummy
