well what can I say ! We won a Sunday lunch with a local football team Washington Jaguars raffle and to be fair as we hadn't been before we didn't know what to expect . Well all I can say is it was probably one of the best Sunday dinners we have had in a very long while .... absolutely delicious! large portions of quality food just amazing staff very friendly we will definitely be back thank you x
The Beehive – Houghton-le-SpringSunday lunch 19 October. Absolutely appalling. Beef was like leather, mashed potato like wallpaper paste, carrots overcooked, cabbage appalling. Yorkshire pudding not bad, gravy was ok.. Afraid we won't be going again. The staff where excellent, very friendly, clean and tidy. Shame meal was not very nice.

They only charged 30p for a cordial juice which is how it should be! So many places charge for a full drink, when no one should charge for water, just the splash of juice. Will definitely be back.
