Arrived at the restaurant and explained that we had a booking. Was told “no you haven’t “. I showed the emails confirming that we had booked and the booking had been confirmed. No apology given which we felt was really poor. Food was lovely but felt the evening was tainted by the poor reception.

Fantastic return visit this weekend - by far the best Greek and Cypruit food in Hull - throughly enjoy our visits here can't recommend enough!

Perfect as usual

Lovely choice of all you can eat. Good size portions. Only criticism is we felt rushed, staff wanted to clear away our plates before we had finished.

Food amazing as always , and all staff excellent I recommend to everyone I talk to about food restaurants as it top quality

Can’t fault this place - the food was some of the best I’ve had in Hull and it’s in a lovely building. Big up Food for Cowboys.

Amazing special Sunday menu. We ordered every main and side dish on the menu - it was all beautiful - so well thought out, beautifully cooked and a real treat. Please do this menu again!

Visited last night for the first time and it will not be the last! We had the all you can eat menu and thoroughly enjoyed the food. The choice is great and the quality is really good! Service was great and for 5pm on Sunday it was very busy which was great to see.

We visited yesterday and was hoping for the Taco's but when we arrived it was the Sunday Lunch menu, it was our own fault for not checking the face book page first! . At first we were gutted but honestly it was the most amazing food I've eaten in a while. The beef short ribs and country fried chicken oh god it was fantastic !! Definitely recommend visiting Food for Cowboys !!! Hope to be back soon ! Thank you :)

We really enjoyed our meal! We got a selection of tacos and a couple of drinks each…loved the pineapple soft drink and also had one of the best Palomas I’ve ever drank! Tacos were great - ox cheek and Birria were our favourites! My only bit of negative feedback is that we were a table of two and we were seated at the only table downstairs by the door. It meant there wasn’t much of an atmosphere and although we had a great time it did feel like a weird spot for a table. No fault of the staff but it was cold and obviously draughty when people came in and out meaning I kept my coat on the entire time. It was also very quiet apart from the kitchen noise so I would say maybe only seat groups there? We still had a great time just felt we would have had a better atmosphere upstairs

The food was amazing especially the birria tacos the consume was a delight. Our only negative if you can even call it one is that we were asked to vacate the table after 2 hours which is fine and understandable but it would have been nice to have known before hand. Atmosphere was fantastic and can’t wait to come back and try more options

Been here several times now and it never disappoints. Fantastic food provided by really friendly helpful staff. I am really not surprised that it has been named the best curry house in the North of England. Can't recommend highly enough

We had an amazing time. The food was great, very authentic, reminded me of the time when I visited Greece. The ambiance simple but gives you the Greek vibes and the service was superb. We felt welcomed and taken care of. Definitely highly recommended.
