This restaurant is one of our favourite places to come , the staff are so friendly , the food is always cooked to perfection and to top it all off it’s so reasonably priced , I would definitely recommend this restaurant .

This very popular and busy Greek retaurant is fantastic. The food is amazing and the staff and very friendly. I had the prawn saganaki as a starter, beef styfado and greek salad.... close your eyes and you are back in Greece.

Unfortunately we had decide to go for food at 8 as we thought before it got To full we seated next to a group of Girls who where very loud we have no problem with people having a laugh we love a good giggle but this was so loud we couldn’t speak to each other , staff kept coming over to see if we was ok and several time We pointed out what they could vlwaely hear it was a tad loud thinking maybe they might be good enough to ask the girls to stop Screaming while others where still Eating or Even offer to move us ,,, No nothing after I politely said could you please not scream I was verbally abused and called a Karen , bad experience I left my food and would not go back again we eat out a lot and love music I think the staff could of politely done some thing and other people Eating kept looking over we was hoping to stay for the music too

So nice and relaxed , food beautiful. Will be visiting again x

Was visiting hull seeing family with the wife and someone told us about the aegean and we are so happy we came here the atmosphere was amazing and the food was perfect and was so surprised at how good it was for the price will definitely come back when we are next in hull! Thank you!

Good food and good service

Absolutely outstanding food. This is the second time we have been and it was just as good as the first time. Service was excellent. I fancied some fish and the very helpful waiter recommended the Sea Bream. It was a large plump fish cooked perfectly which I had with some greens that the waiter mixed with olive oil and lemon for me. The starters we had were also delicious and the meatballs were the best I've had, very light and tender and so tasty! Top nosh here!

Favourite place to eat in Hull! It never disappoints. The atmosphere is always great and the staff are so welcoming. Always a good selection of beers from light to dark. Dyslexic fries FTW!

Had a lovely meal, with family. Not first time we’ve visited. Excellent service and excellent food. From personal preference, I wasn’t keen on the house wine. I’ve had a lot worse. I didn’t ask about the Greek wines on offer so that could make a vast difference. We have had really good Greek wines in Greece. The atmosphere is very relaxing and love Greek music. Can’t wait for an authentic Greek night - count us in…….

Great food

My family have been coming to The Aegean at both locations for a number of years. We love the authentic Greek food and the atmosphere. However our experience last night has had a huge impact on how we view the restaurant and service. We were out celebrating my mum and dads 46th wedding anniversary, made more special by the fact that my Dad very rarely goes out these days due to being wheelchair bound due to the effects of his chemotherapy. We were a large table of 7 and had three courses. Everything was fine until later in the meal when service dwindled, we felt almost ignored by staff as the restaurant started to empty. We were ready to order taxis and thought we would order one last drink to have whilst we waited. It took a while to get the waitresses attention as she was chatting to a lady that we assume had something to do with the restaurant. We asked for two drinks and she went to the bar to get them. We were then hollered at by the man behind the bar that they were closed. It was around 830pm and our table was at 6pm. The website was advertiseing the restaurant as being open until 10pm. The tone was abrupt and came across rude, the bill was then given and we paid our £204 bill. After spending so much money in the restaurant, it was not very accommodating to not give two drinks and then it could have been communicated that they were closing. We then proceeded to have to sit for the same length of time 10/15 minutes without a drink whilst the taxis came. So the restaurant lost out on another round and we didn’t get our night cap. My mum was really upset by how the night ended and how we were made to feel an inconvenience for still being there after spending so much money and trying to celebrate a special occasion. It’s massively tainted our view of this restaurant that we’ve always considered family friendly with good service at its centre

Big thanks for a lovely night food was excellent as was all the staff and we wasn't rushed off our table so i had time for a catch up with my friends. Will definitely go back.
