Well Where do I begin? After hearing recommendations from friends. We tried the Aegean in its new premises We ordered a Steak special and Seabass which were brilliant You can’t go to a Greek restaurant and not order a Greek Salad That was Excellent too We definitely intend on going back 10/10 from LEN LOL

The Aegean Taverna – HullGreat food, last visited at the old shop and the food is still just as good at the new premises. Service was flawless, lighthearted and pleasant staff. Very clean inside, you can see the kitchen which is spotless. Toilets clean. The dining area is light and airy and felt relaxed. They still sell my favourite Cypriot wine, Thisby, which goes down rather too well. Will be coming back soon.

My only complaint would be that we were sat underneath a speaker and unfortunately the volume of the music however nice it was made having a conversation quite difficult. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and return myself.

The Aegean Taverna – HullHaving read the favourable review in the Yorkshire Post regarding the Aegeans's move to new location and the quality of the food etc we thought it an ideal place to meet with friends. However, we made the mistake of booking online so were unaware that a large party were booked in just before us, consequently service was grossly affected and the noise of chatter and music made our conversation difficult. We had a lengthy wait for our order even to be taken - compounded by the fact that we were not told from the start that the Meze was off the menu, and due to our wait we had to ask for bread and olives rather than they be offered to us which would have been courteous. The meat platter when it came was delicious and we all enjoyed it. We will return but will book by phone and check for the presence of large parties!

Roots Rum Shack and Kitchen – HullGreat venue and a very social feel to it. Staff and food were excellent and the main course meat platter beat us. Recommend!
