The Wheelhouse – HullHaving used this public house on a regular basis,We cannot fault the food both for quality and price,The Sunday lunch is great value. The staff go out of there way to help in any way they can,And the winter open fire is worth seeing.A great old fashioned pub. Brian
Elm Tree Inn – HullReally enjoyed the carvery but had to wait until 12.15pm when it was open. We lunch 11.45 until 12.45 so then we had to rush. If only it was open and ready to serve by 12 noon latest - we would visit at least fortnightly
The Oyster Catcher – HullTruly one of the tastiest Indian meals I've had, myself & my husband have visited 2-3 times since opening for a take away & will be back to eat in the restaurant!cant fault it.Would definitely recommend A******
Alachi – HullSorry - I have to disagree 100%... I only visited this restaurant 2 weeks ago and being new to the area have started trying the local restaurants around me. Firstly it took them 20 minutes to order a drink (as it seems chatting with staff and regular customers is more important than their new customers!), secondly when the food came it wasn't what we had ordered and it was cold and thirdly, after showing our concerns with the staff that we were not happy with the service they were not interested at all and seemed to hurry us out without any apology to then go back and join their regular customers at their table. I am very disappointed with this 'so called' great restaurant and will be telling everyone I know to avoid it. Very unfriendly and rude staff and very little effort made.
Bond Street Restaurant & Bar – Hullwhat a great meal!!
Whistling Goose, The – HullJust opened before Christmas, bring your own wine and beer, no corkage charged, great food, good attentive service and all round great value, can't recommend it more highly and will be back there very soon.
Alachi – Hullvery friendly atmosphere, im going to try and book a table for 6 next Saturday evening, and check out the cuisine
Roos Arms – HullThis is a cosy friendly pub with a private restaurant serving lovely home made food and traditional real ales and a wide selection of other beers and beverages and wines - Would definitely recommend.
Hare and Hounds – HullSuperb range of home cooked meals. Haddock Fish & Chips is brilliant, tastes delicious. Excellent mine host.
Swan and Cygnet – HullThis is a friendly, family pub with excellent pub food at a very good price. There are games facilities, karaoke and 3D Sky TV. Outdoor gardens in the summer. Two large but welcoming bars. Most customers on first named terms. Recommend if you are in the area for the limited but good value meals.
Wawne Ferry – HullI visit this restaurant nearly every week, and can really recommend it. It has increased the price of your other commendations, but it is still quite reasonable from £5 to £6 pounds on a lunch time. Also there are always several Chinese people in, so cant be bad.
Desaru Malaysian and Chinese Restaurant – HullI cannot fault anything at Rayella's 10. 10/10 :)
Rayella’s 10 – HullVery nice food and staff. Will go again. Not cheap but very worth it.
Ceruttis – HullJust returned from a visit to Lambath Hull for a carvery as a birthday treat, absolutely awful experience, table was dirty and the food was luke warm., the beef was inedible as many complained about, all the dishes were empty and it wasn't even busy. The gravy was so watery it had no taste and just ran from the food, the best part of the meal was the pint of cider we had.
Lambwath – Hullfantastic food, great service and friendly staff really welcoming .
Rayella’s 10 – Hullwent in with my family on 4/7/2010 ordered 2 roast dinners and 3 burgers and chips for the kids went and sat down needed straws for kids drinks so went back up to the bar where I was told they never had any burger buns for burgers if i would have them in tiger bread(very thick slice bread) I asked if I could change order as kids would not be able to get mouths round very thick bread not ideal for a 2,6,7 year old I was told I could not change order(if they I said this when i order i would of got kids something different! when meal came this chips on the burger meals where rock solid, our roast potatoes where rock hard too could not get fork though them our mash was also stone cold! We told our waiter who took all 5 meals back, we were then offered a plate "of chips as it was all back to normal now" words from waiter!we asked for money back £26 was told no all they could do was say sorry! Will never be going back here. I would tell everybody else to stay away to since new owners have taken over. Use to be really nice!!
