I would highly recommend Napoleans.I recently went in the new year for a sunday lunch.Ive already booked to go again (twice)!Everything is absolutely spot on. Excellent all round,the food,the staff,the surroundings and price.Superb! Could not fault it. Im making sure all my friends become members. Be sure to book early.

Some might say, that with Chiquito's being a chain restaurant, the authenticity is lacking. Well, it may be true that it's not the most original place: the chef's are British and the place looks like an overly done up Mexican wedding venue. But, this said; the service is prompt and efficient, despite the fact that on every visit it has been very busy and the waiters and waitresses are friendly and on the ball. The food is a tad expensive, but the portions are big and the food is delicious. you don't have to be a fan of all things spicy to come here, the traditional American chicken dishes and mashed potatoes are fantastic. If you order fajitas, then it arrives at your table sizzling on a platter. I should also mention that the cocktails are amazing, original and fresh- i recommend the strawberry daquiri! If it's your birthday, then all the more reason to go- You get a free drink, balloon and a chorus of happy birthday from the staff! Chicquito's is always alive with chatter, music and people out for a good time. It's suitable for families, as they give out free childrens activity bags and great for a group booking or girls/boys night out.

This place is well known with us students, being as you can take your own alcohol! We have visited on many occasions and the food and service have always been good. Yet, somehow, every time we eat there- the bill miraculously gains extra food and sides ( all written in Indian and/or illegible shorthand) and upon asking for a detailed run-through the waiter always apologises for the extra items. (same excuse being, lack of communication between waiters.) I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt, and say that it's a genuine mistake, but it has happened everytime we have eaten there. So, I will stick to ordering Indian from Moonlight tandoori (cottingham road) and eating out at Last Viceroy (Beverley road) as their food and service are very good.

i have dined here once and was very impressed with the Italian authenticity and the friendly and efficient service. the food is not the best Italian food in Hull and the setting is a little bland, but it's cheap, cheerful and offers good value for money.

Very smelly and dirty and messy. definitely would not go there again. I recommend an orange coloured cafe called fiesta cafe on holderness road opposite lloyds tsb. clean and quick service. you dont even have to pay until you've finished your dinner. best cafe in hull. for pubs well there is john pauls restaurant in cowden which is cheap and very swiss.it is beautiful.

get yourselves to sleepers,great choice of meals,fantastic value,feel good atmosphere. i love it and recommend it everytime.

Great place to go if you fancy a bit of everything and don't just want one thing to eat. The food is fantastic very friendly staff, perfect for a all you can eat menu, would recommend to all to at least try it once and see what you think you never know you may enjoy it and make it a regular thing like some do.

I first began to eat here after fishing for cod in the adjacent river humber. There are stunning views at lunchtime (and evenings in summer) over the river. My wife and I found the food and friendly service very good.

although the service was good i felt the price charged for the meal was very expensive for the portions served. A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED.

i took my family for a meal for my daughters birthday, the meals were really big portions, they were all homemade, the lasagna was gorgeous, the prices were brilliant!!

I had to write to say what a great time we had at Fudge Restaurant in Hull. Our first time after a recommendation from friends and it really is a little gem of a place. Fresh food, imaginative restaurant specials. We have booked an outside catering event for our business and also a birthday celebration in the upstairs private dining area which looks great for parties. Can't wait. Check this place out if you're in Hull. You're missing a treat!

The attitude of the staff was appalling, not at all professional, very dirty upstairs, lots of under age drinkers, mucky untidy bar area!!

I've been there several times and always enjoyed it. Unfortunately I will not be going again after receiving extremely bad service on my last visit. The waiter was extremely rude to us, and it ruined our meal.

one of the best around been more than a dozen times ,can sometimes be quite busy but its well worth if you do have to wait a little, the Sunday lunches are spot on ,meals are always well presented, hot and plenty of it, and if you manage the main course then the sweets are of the same high standard very few in my opinion even come close to it

We travelled a fair way to this new venture and it was well worth it. The effort the owners have put in should see them reap their rewards. The wide variety of food was excellent as well was the service and surroundings. If you are passing it makes a refreshing change to the norm. Buenos Suerte! Cuckoos.

Pleas first let me say that it is Raj Pavillion and not paj could be very confusing, secondly if you like Indian food this for me is the only place to eat in Hull have tried just about all the other Indian Restaurants and nothing comes close to matching every detail above
