Well what can w e say the food was excellent the service was brilliant the staff were very helpful all in all would highly recommend the Rising Moon.

We had a table of 8 for my Husband’s 50th birthday The table was set & ready on arrival with the balloons I’d dropped in earlier that day. Our server (sorry didn’t tell us her name) was lovely & cheerful despite being busy. Food was lovely, great portions, all hot. Only downside was the wait we had, unfortunately a chef had gone home poorly so the kitchen was under pressure which is obviously unforeseen circumstances but just a little heads up at the start would have put us in the picture more.. all staff very apologetic for the wait though & they were obviously affected. Overall lovely evening meal Thanks

First visit on Friday night, food and service was fabulous, really friendly staff, I had fish n chips my daughter had the crispy beef and rice and we both really enjoyed it

Brilliant food and service as always. Only disappointment was having to wait outside in the rain for 7mins (after the opening time) while “the boss finished his team meeting”. Not the best start. Staff are great though. Always make you feel welcome and speak to the kids.

We were a party of 9 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food. I had the Lamb Henry it was beautiful and so tender and was complemented with creamy mash, minted gravy and lovely cooked veggies. The desserts we had were all delicious too. I had homemade apple and cinnamon crumble with hot custard it was gorgeous. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and professional they all looked after us very well. Definitely be returning

Good service and nice meal. Only negative was the use of sachets for the condiments, in particular tomato sauce. Fiddling with these things to extract a small teaspon of sauce does detract from the experience. Bottles please.

It was enjoyable.and the food was nice

Food was good quality and portion sizes. Due to the hot weather I feel this was busier than usual for food we waited a hour for main meal and the my husbands fries appeared cold. I expressed the stuffing on Sunday roast was not efible to me. It was acknowledged. It would have been good to let customers know of any wait times when busy. I feel like I would like to go back and try a mid week as the food itself was nice.

Myself, Husband and 2 friends had a lovely meal last night 1st June. We have now been to the Rising Moon on about 6 or 7 occasions since moving into the area last September. I can quite honestly say we have never had anything but superb food and fantastic service. The staff are all very pleasant and nothing is too much trouble. We have brought friends with us on a few occasions and they have all said the food and service is superb. We will be back very soon for another lovely meal at the Rising Moon. Xxx

Friendly atmosphere, staff really helpful. I chose the sweet chilli noodles they were delicious large portions . Would recommend paying The Rising Moon a visit !

The starters came very quickly and were nice and hot. However, the mains took a long time to come, my tuna melt was disintegrating and my friends meal was extremely salty (he had steak and ale pie).

I took 3 friends to The Rising Moon last Wednesday for lunch they had never been before but really enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere in the restaurant, they will go again as the service was really good . Thank you .
