Unfortunately we will not be visiting again! We came as a family of 3 at a time when it was quiet and experienced the following…. Very slow service and waited a long time for the food Had to ask for service and wait a lengthy time for staff to come We had ask for cutlery and had to wait for it while our food went cold our extra sides that didn’t come with the meal No starters menu for children The lasagne had no tomato base just very bland mince meat with cheese and herbs The children’s pizza was just bread with cheese no tomato base tasted very dry Had to ask for the tables to be cleared after sitting for over half an hour while staff stood chatting All in all not a good evening and will not waste our money next time This place is not what it was .

Regularly visit here to eat, meet and shop. Lovely staff and knowledgeable. The cafe has certainly improved in lots of ways. The staff are more attentive and aware of what’s going on with orders. The food too is much better but the menu needs tweaking because the toasted sandwich doesn’t come on bread now, but a ciabatta style. Good but a surprise! Still a lovely local garden centre.

I always enjoy having lunch here. I love the shop. Unfortunately anything bread seems to be a cheap dry ciabatta. A pizza, ciabatta, a toastie, ciabatta, I wouldn’t dare to ask about a sandwich but it probably is again a ciabatta. If the prices were lower I wouldn’t mind but they are pretty steep. So, as much as I like to have lunch here, I simply can’t afford it

Not to usual standard. Unfortunately most recent visit was not to previous standards. The order was wrong, portion sizes and quality were poor, had to request side orders which came after everyone had eaten their meal. Overall a place where we loved to come has really disappointed. There were hardly any diners in yet food took a very long time also. 45 mins to be served food. The burger was tiny and bland with one tiny piece lettuce and no sauce. Chip were good, child’s means were tiny portion looked terrible. Waitress was lovely. Prob won’t be using as first choice anymore as last couple of times quality has gone down hill. Which is a shame. Definitely not value for money given prices charged.

Always enjoy the food here,good choice ,good price and lovely staff,been here loads,never been disappointed.

This visit the food was not nice as usual cold soup to start with that had to be sent back, the stroganoff was not up to spec a few peaces of beef but mostly mushrooms so guess mushroom stroganoff with a few bits of beef thrown in sad really as we go often to there.

Whilst visiting my family we decided to try The Rising Moon and both the food and service were excellent on a busy Sunday afternoon.

Food, staff, place is lovely. been a few times. as I was a local girl, it's nice to come back, Andy it's very clean

Lovely atmosphere and friendly welcoming staff. The food was great as always and the service despite it being busy was attentive.

Had a fabulous morning at Lymefield - the Lite Breakfast was a perfect size & delicious. I bought 3 plants that were reasonably priced & & few items from the farm shop. Again very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

First time here and won’t be the last. Food was delicious. 9 of us went for a family meal. We all ordered something different on the menu. Everything came out fresh and hot at the same time. Staff were friendly. Once we had finished eating we found a table outside so the children could have fun in the play area

Delicious lunch, great service.

Always lovely food and great service from staff. Warm Chicken and Bacon Salad is my favourite meal. My partner had Steak, onion and cheese panini which also looked delicious.

Very enjoyable evening meal, booked for three friends, catching up together. Delicious food, great service, from polite and thoughtful staff. A very pleasant atmosphere and good value for money. A* all round.
