Food was okay but it took quite a while to come out (nearly an hour), most of the staff were welcoming but didn’t seem to know what they were doing.

The Rising Moon – HydeExcellent food and service Fantastic gluten free options Good choice of food overall Highly recommended
The Rising Moon – HydeWe came for lunch yesterday as a group of 6. We enjoyed our food and the environment was warm and pleasant but we found the service slow and rather haphazard. We were also given the bill at the end that had 4 sweets on it we hadn't had so this led to some confusion and had to be rectified.
The Rising Moon – HydeHad an absolutely delicious lunch at the Rising Moon x food was great and the service was spot on x
The Rising Moon – HydeThird visit in 2weeks. Best food at very reasonable prices for miles around. Don’t eat as much as used to and a great menu to suit me. My grandson has no such qualms and enjoyed a lovely steak in peppercorn sauce. My wife had giant slice of cheese pie with vegetables and the best chips ever at a restaurant- fluffy inside and crispy out. I had peppercorn sauce with chips and peas and fabulous apple crumble and custard.Just £14.99.Great friendly service in lovely surroundings. Service was a little slower than usual but lots of customers, a large party and limited but efficient staff.
The Rising Moon – HydeFirst time visiting but definitely won’t be the last. The food was lovely the pic itself was very clean and a special thanks to the lovely young man on duty who took care and f us.
The Rising Moon – HydeSecond visit in a week and absolutely brilliant each time. Wife also loved the place and the food. We visit regularly as there is nowhere better.
The Rising Moon – HydeIt was the first time that I have visited. I was extremely impressed, a young man member of staff saw us approaching on sticks, and immediately came and held the door open which set a very good impression, he warmly welcomed us. We had the small plate menu, the fish was beautifully cooked it was excellent value for money. All staff were friendly kind and welcoming. The disabled toilet was very clean and accessible. Overall it was an excellent experience and we really enjoyed ourselves and will most certainly visit again
The Rising Moon – HydeNice food, service dire! Place wasn’t busy but seemed to be staffed with youngsters (all under 20) who half the time seemed clueless. Service was so slow. Came in and was told we had the table for 2 hours. After 2 hours we were still waiting for our desserts. 20 minutes for order to be taken then another 40 minutes for the mains to arrive then 50 minutes for the dessert! While we were there you were out of Pepsi max / diet - probably the biggest selling drink on your bar??? And when one of our party ordered a coffee he was brought a straw to stir it as you had run out of teaspoons? Seriously? The place wasn’t even half full and you had ‘ran out of teaspoons’? It was a real shame as the food was decent but from a service perspective I definitely wouldn’t return.
The Rising Moon – HydeCame for food with my sister and her family, the staff were amazing start to finish, the food was delicious, portion sizes are really big and all of us really enjoyed, the staff even went above and beyond to keep the youngest entertained :)
The Rising Moon – HydeHad booked a table for Monday at 12:50 & arrived on time. Drinks were slow in arriving (but apologies for the delay received from the young lad waiting table). Food ordered & then around a 30 minute wait for it to arrive. To be fair, we only saw two "customer side" staff and a delivery arrived from Bookers Wholesale whilst we were there (the van was parked outside blocking our view of thecountryside!) so the delays may have simply been due to lack of staff numbers. When food arrived it was piping hot, full of flavour & well-enjoyed & at the end of teh day, that's what you want!
The Rising Moon – HydeMe and my partner went here Sunday 8th Feb evening, the service and food was amazing! We loved it and will be going back Thank uou
The Rising Moon – Hydevisited here on Sunday for the first time for our sons birthday. 4 of us. food was really lovely especially the lamb shanks. staff were really friendly and the service was very good. Will definitely be back again.
The Rising Moon – HydeWent to the Rising Moon on Saturday 7 Feb with my mum. The service was good (unlike our previous visit when we waited 45 minutes for our food to arrive). Mum had the braised steak which was really tough, it was obvious as soon as the meat arrive that it had been cut against the grain and hence the reason it was stringy and tough. Definitely wouldn’t order that again.
The Rising Moon – HydeThis was the 1st time we visited , we got a parking spot no problem. The staff were lovely and really made us feel welcome . The food was good and a reasonable price , we will definitely be back
