Our waitress was lovely, everything was out of her control and not her fault. The restaurant was simply overbooked, our food was over an hour coming after our starters , and when it did arrive it was cold.Complained to waitress and was not charged for food, but not the point spoiled our meal out could not face waiting for a pudding , or a cup of coffee , going out for a meal at the moment is a treat and this was thoroughly disappointing I will not be gracing you with my custom again nor will I be recommending your restaurant. Don’t even get me started about the parking.

Had a lovely meal here with my family. Food was delicious, nothing was too much trouble. Great way to spend the last lunch of the year!

Real Italian restaurant run by an Italian family would say the best in the area if you love proper Italian food must be tried

The heating wasn't working so it was cold in the restaurant, it took 90 mins to get our starters. When we finally got our main dishes the fish wasn't cooked in the middle and clearly was frozen not having been defrosted properly. My partner had pasta with clams which gave her food poisoning and was really ill for two days. Really disappointing experience.

Once again we had an excellent evening at Vesuvius, the restaurant was extremely busy but the service remained swift and efficient. Excellent food and drinks as always.

Hadn't been to Vesuvius for a while, and then have visited 3 times in 3 weeks. Once for an evening and then twice for lunch, both times having the set lunch menu which is incredibly good value for money. It goes without saying in my view that the staff are friendly, the food always delicious and there is a wonderful variety of dishes to choose from. This place really is a bit of a hidden gem.

Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Set menu exceptional value. Wine was good and reasonably priced even by the glass. A good recommendation these days. The service was very good. Will definitely be coming again.

One word "AMAZING" We have been dining here every fortnight sometimes even weekly ever since it opened!! Superb food,superb staff in Rosie,Max and of course Mirabella.In my book, the best place we have ever eaten in !Very few restaurants seem to get it right but Vesuvius is Top Banana!!!!!Once you eat there ,you will go back for more.
