Vesuvius Restaurant – MaidstoneEating in Vesuvius is always an experience to look forward to. We ate there again on Friday 25th November, and, as always, the evening went superbly. Friendly service, superb food and good value for money. The restaurant was full, but the attention from the waiting staff was exemplary - friendly but not intrusive. Full marks to Alessandro and his team - we will be back soon.

On this visit I tried the Saltimbocca and Holly had the calzone. Everything is freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. This was our first visit despite passing by over many years and now we know what we have been missing. Family owned and managed so their passion for excellent food and service shows. What a wonderful change after all the chain "Italian" restaurants in the town. Parking is just a short walk so don't be put off by the busy road. Go and enjoy.

Our meals were tasty and well cooked. A first visit but definitely not the last. Hope to return soon.

From the warm welcome at the door, to the great service, spectacular wine and incredible food. The seafood is a delight to eat and it is priced perfectly in my opinion.
