Another visit to the Pheasant did not disappoint as usual. Everything we had was tasty and well cooked, the venison bourguignon is my go to; it is superb! The accompanying veg and chips/new potatoes all lovely. The fact you really have to book speaks for itself.

Friendly staff and a lovely welcoming pub. The food is very good, all cooked freshly and lots of choices including specials. Well priced, recommend highly.

Great place, exactly how a pub should be, not too glitzy but clean welcoming with very attentive staff, food quality and portion size just right, good value for money.

A Monday evening. Good beer to start with. The service was very welcoming and the staff equally so. Very good selection of food. Not a burger in site! I had the lamb shoulder. My wife and sister had the fish pie. We are all a little bit picky when it comes to food. What I can say my said “this is the best fish pie she has ever had” OMG what a compliment. I throughly enjoyed my lamb shoulder. Exquisite. Eating out is not cheap nowadays. Would we eat here again. Yes . Can we recommend the Pheasant Inn. Without hesitation!

Had Sunday roast on March 22nd. Delicious roast beef, my husband had pork - large portions and good selection of veg. Staff were extremely helpful and attentive and food came quickly. Lovely log fire in the far room and they put the electric 'wood burner' stove on for me when I said I was cold! Would definitely go again when in Keswick.

Went for Sunday lunch……we all had the roast beef dinner. Beef cooked to perfection, delicious “proper” gravy, roast and mashed potatoes, more than enough vegetables, and a huge Yorkshire pudding. Absolutely well worth the money. Staff were all friendly and efficient. Great atmosphere in the pub.

Booked a table for my birthday whilst visiting Keswick. The food was excellent as always. The guys were lovely but service was alittle slow which isn't a criticism at all. They never stopped all night. We can't wait to visit again when we are up again in the very near future.

The food was delicious at the Pheasant, we ate there on the Sunday and I had the Sunday Lunch and my husband had venison bouginion both were extremely tasty and the veg was cooked to perfection. The food was so good we returned in the week and everything was just as good. Next time we are in Keswick we will definitely eat here.

We visited on 21st March, great atmosphere in the pub, my wife chose a dish on the menu, only to be told this was not currently on - possibly inform diners when the menus are being handed out on what is not available. We had to ask twice for my wife’s vegetables to be served. In terms of the food, this was excellent and thoroughly enjoyable. I would return as the food was excellent.

Tasty food, lovely people, sticky toffee pudding to die for , our 4th visit to the Pheasant and we will be back!

The only place in Keswick where I can get my steak cooked as I want it, not as the chef thinks it shoul be.

After trying in the past to get booked in for a meal while in the area, we finally managed to get a table. It was worth the wait! The food was delicious and good service. It was so nice we are going back again before we go home.

Great food. Drinks were a little slow and a little mix up with the bill. I have been a dozen times and it’s still the best place in Keswick to eat.

Absolutely superb. Melt in the mouth venison bourguignon with a gorgeous herb dumpling and delicious roast beef. We always look forward to a visit to the Pheasant Inn every time we are in the Lakes.
