We came for a family meal with 4 adults and 4 kids. The pub is lovely, the staff and friendly and helpful and food was great. Will definitely be returning.

We always eat at the Pheasent Inn ,when we are on our holidaying the lakes. You can expect a warm welcome, friendly staff,good food . Un fortunately the last night something went wrong,our food was unfortunately not upto their usual standard.Never the less we will dine there again and hope that this was a one of. We would always recommend the Pheasent Inn.

Great pub food, good choice, decent gluten free options too. Very friendly service. A good honest pub serving good honest food.

This has become a regular place for us to eat when we visit the Lake District. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, the staff are always welcoming and helpful and the food is always delicious. No doubt we’ll be back soon!

Excellent meal as usual,never miss a visit when in Keswick. Same attentive staff ,same atmosphere ,glad we had booked again this week given that the town is the busiest we have ever seen

Warm welcome, friendly staff, good service. Plates and food hot. My husband had venison - very good. I had duck - it was quite tough to cut but ok to eat, possibly overcooked a bit.

Service was top drawer. Food was the same. Fantastic place. Highly recommended

Good food. Visited with our dogs and staff adjusted our assigned table to cope with their size 2×Labs). Although the pub was very busy we were served in reasonable time. Staff were very helpful throughout.

Food was fantastic but service was terrible from the moment we entered the pub.was told our table was in the corner but not asked if we wanted drinks for a good 10mins.waitress eventually asked us if we wanted a drink and also asked if we were ready to order our food which we did,but she didn’t mention the specials which were out of our vision behind us on the fireplace wall.(my wife would have had one of the options if she had asked)we then ordered ice cream but wasn’t asked if we wanted the sauce as another waitress run off before we got chance to say what we wanted.ice cream was of course delivered without any sauce by a waiter who had to take them back.last time we went it was superb food and service so such a shame that the service has gone down to such a level.

Excellent choice of food, beer and drinks. Service with a smile. The portion sizes are large and filling, and servers knowledgeable on food options. We have been here for the last few years on visits to Lakes and will be back.

Really enjoyed Sunday roast here. Good ale and fantastic service.

We love The Pheasant… food is excellent, especially Sunday lunches, and love the staff who are always so welcoming!

The Pheasant Inn is an excellent gastro pub. The food is to die for. Excellent quality and generous portions and a frustratingly wide choice ! The choice of beers would excite a CAMRA veteran never mind less knowledgeable punters such as our group. And look out for the table host , she's fun, witty and welcoming and sharp as a tack Don't mess with her!! The Pheasant Inn .. way more than pleasant in.

Excellent evening, great beer , great food. Cumberland sausages to die for and very well looked after by Dave, an asset to the pub 10/10 Very easy to walk to through Fitz Park from town

Nice bar with a good selection of ales. Food selection excellent and was top quality. Barman was chatty and good company. Only downside was the total lack of car parking outside, had to use a car park near by.
