Perfect hearty food, amazing staff, doggies are welcome!

The most delicious Sunday lunch, we haven't stopped talking about it since we went. Very good portions. Would absolutely recommend. Service is 10 out of 10 every single person we came across was very friendly and accommodating.

We were lucky enough to have Easter Sunday lunch here. Roast beef, pork, chicken, the Lamb Henry and Lakeland steak pie were all wonderful. All the food was of the highest quality. Set in a traditional, dog friendly pub with a roaring log fire. We will definitely be back. (Already booked in)

Had a lovely meal at the pheasant. We both opted for the chicken from the specials board. It was very flavourful and plenty of it

We always try and visit the Pheasant when we are in Keswick for a few days away. It's a great pub that serves proper pub food and a nice choice of real ales. Always well looked after by all the staff and would definitely recommend if you are visiting Keswick, but you better book in advance as it's always nice and busy.

we were booked in at 3pm on our return from the lake district. as we were early going home we phoned to see if they could accommodate us for sunday lunch earlier then we booked . i’m glad to say they couldn’t be more helpful . food was amazing and service excellent. would highly recommend.

Well worth coming to the Pheasant Inn. We had a lovely tasty meal. There is a very good menu with plenty of gluten free options. The staff were very efficient and gave great service

Went for our second visit of the week, not disappointed again, my wife had the scampi and for myself a 10oz. ribeye steak, both meals were excellent , good honest food served with a smile and excellent value for money.

Another visit to the Pheasant did not disappoint as usual. Everything we had was tasty and well cooked, the venison bourguignon is my go to; it is superb! The accompanying veg and chips/new potatoes all lovely. The fact you really have to book speaks for itself.

A Monday evening. Good beer to start with. The service was very welcoming and the staff equally so. Very good selection of food. Not a burger in site! I had the lamb shoulder. My wife and sister had the fish pie. We are all a little bit picky when it comes to food. What I can say my said “this is the best fish pie she has ever had” OMG what a compliment. I throughly enjoyed my lamb shoulder. Exquisite. Eating out is not cheap nowadays. Would we eat here again. Yes . Can we recommend the Pheasant Inn. Without hesitation!
