Good grub and plenty of it. Staff were attentive and friendly. Would definitely eat here again.

Booked for Sunday lunch at the pheasant even though I made my reservation over a week in advance alot of time slots were full (so be warned!) The staff were very welcoming and friendly even though they were very busy. We arrived 15min early but our table was ready for us . The drinks were priced as you would expect for Keswick We ordered two Sunday roasts which we thoroughly enjoyed . The portion sizes were large ,to say the least!!.we didn't mind paying £23 due to the quality and quantity! Unfortunately we cannot comment regarding the desert menu as we were too full! Highly recommend

Worst experience Ive had in a restaurant in a long time. Ive been coming for years and always found it to be exceptional but I will never come again after what happened. The waitress was combative and rude. I heard her saying horrible things about me to the kitchen staff. When I went to speak to the manager she held a dish of chips up to my face in an aggressive manner. I have never been treated like this in a restaurant in my life. Absolutely disgusted.

Visited a couple of times for a pint then a meal. Lovely beer and wine, really enjoyed our meals, well cooked generous portions, friendly service, nice outdoor seating areas with a view, highly recommend.

Friendly clean pub in a great location. Good menu, not many specials available this visit. Good selection of beverages, very dog friendly.

Great food great staff can’t beat it

The meal at The Pheasant Keswick was the best meal out we’ve had in years. The serving ce was wonderful, friendly, best part of the meal. The food was excellent, I had two pints of real ale, Cumberland and a Theakstons OP. We ate early at 5:30pm and easily finished in our 2hour window. Deserts were great, the white chocolate cheesecake excellent, I need to go back to try the other dishes.

Amazing food with lovely service, one of the best dinner we’ve had in Keswick, including vegetarian options. Fresh produce, great flavours and friendly staff, good portion size, nothing to fault really. Thank you for a great meal!

Excellent food, lovely cheerful service in a quaint and lovely location. We enjoyed our meal so much we returned after a few days. We always plankton go when visiting Keswick.

Ate at the Pheasant on two consecutive nights and the food and service were both excellent. The tuna in particular was gorgeous. Always come here when visiting Keswick.

Had Sunsay lunch at the Pheasant. Food was excellent. Staff very friendly, although service was a little slow. Only negative was they got our original drinks order wrong and only after I'd paid and left I noticed they had charged me for a beer brand I'd not had, which was more expensive than the beer I had actually drank. Check your bill before paying would be my advice

Best pub for food in Keswick. The staff are friendly, the service is great and the food choice & quality is excellent. We have been eating here for many years when we visit Keswick and always recommend to others. Dog friendly. A good idea to book!
