One of the nicest steaks in peppercorn sauce I've ever had!

The restaurant was packed (always a good sign!) yet we enjoyed excellent service all evening. There was a really wide menu and the four of us all had different meals and every one of them was delicious. Great puddings too! This is a real gem of a pub in Keswick and is very highly recommended.

Excellent atmosphere and staff. Each member of staff were friendly,helpful and chatty. Food was amazing and came to table quickly. Will definitely use again.

Cosy traditional pub with log fire. Friendly staff. Good food. Somewhat pricey. (Lunch main ~£20 beer £5.25)

We booked a cottage a couple of doors away from The Pheasant Inn, had heard all good things about the pub so decided to book in for evening meal, staff were amazing, friendly and couldn’t do enough for you, the meals were fab, hot and plenty of choice, would recommend booking as it was very busy when we arrived, would highly recommend

Absolutely brilliant. We spent ages looking for somewhere that could cater for a Coeliac (strict gluten free diet for life) and The Pheasant came up. The best meal out I have had in years. We will be back - next time we are in the Lake District.

Six blokes on a walking weekend. Met up at the Pheasant for our usual start...and an excellent start it was as usual. We were given excellent service, superb food in a very convivial environment. Can't speak highly enough of the Pheasants quality, value for money and service. We've been coming for years and will be coming again for years... recommended wholeheartedly.

Great welcome; service was faultless; Menu choice was great too and the quality was excellent. Great atmosphere and very glad we booked in advance. Will definitely return - we loved it

We have dined at the Pheasant now for a number of years. The welcome is excellent, staff always friendly. Food is superb,well presented. Back next year .

A further visit to the Pheasant Inn but this time my wife who is now Coeliac required a safe gluten free meal. The menu had a good range of choices and the staff were really helpful. The food was good quality and there was a great pub type atmosphere. Well recommended

I had the roast dinner - vegetarian wellington which was sadly disappointing as it was supposed to be brie, cranberry and walnut but all you could taste was mushroom. The trimmings were all tasty, with the exception of the roast potatoes which weren't at all crisp. The pub itself is nice and the front of house staff were friendly and attentive.

The staff went out of their way to make sure they could provide an allergy safe meal for my grandson. The food was very good and he ate it all. The time they gave to make sure he was fed was very much appreciated.

This is our 3rd visit over the last couple of years and we have never been disappointed. Portion sizes are generous, piping hot and delicious. Great for walkers and those that just want a tasty home cooked meal. Thoroughly recommend the beef shin special and gammon but the crumble was something else! A must every time we visit Keswick!

2nd time in a week we have been, great food. My wife had the scampi which has never varied in quality. I had one of the specials which was the hake again good portion and well presented. No doubt we will be back again . The pub is full when we were there, all having food which says a lot.

Fortunately we had booked a table as the pub was extremely busy. The atmosphere was fun and welcoming. The staff were friendly and engaging. The food was very good , nice choices on the menu and some specials too.
