Evening meal here prior to going to the local Theatre by the Lake. Thoroughly enjoyable all round. Excellent service and my Mushroom / Brie / Cranberry and Walnut Wellington was absolutely delightful. Only the busy roadside parking lets the side down a bit. The staff are attentive but not in the least pushy. 10/10

We always go to the Pheasant. Lovely food and great service. We always enjoy the great atmosphere and helpful friendly staff. We will be back again. Well done to everyone who made our evening special. Delicious apple and gooseberry crumble. A great menu too and I really like the beef pie although last night I had the beef curry. Delicious.

Fantastic food, staff, atmosphere and value for money. Would definitely recommend coming here for a meal. Will be back before the end of our holiday for another meal to try something different because there are so many delicious things on the menu. We were a party of 5, and had 4 different mains and 5 different desserts. Everything homemade, beautifully presented and nothing was left on our plates/ bowls. Good size portions too.

We had an absolutely fabulous dinner and the food was delicious. My mother and I were also grateful for the accommodation of our eating restrictions and the clear communication on what accommodations were possible.

Make sure you haven't eaten for a while if you want to do justice to the portions of food on offer for Sunday lunch. Very good service, warm welcome and tasty food - what's not too like!

The Pheasant is one of our go to places in Keswick, always good food, nice atmosphere and friendly helpful staff. Will certainly be visiting again on our next trip.

Great traditional pub, I had pie and mash and it was the best comfort food I've had in a long time! Great service also, this is our second visit to Keswick and to the Pheasant and will hopefully return again.

Whenever we visit Keswick (very often) we always spend an evening at The Pheasant Inn. We're nearly through the menu (fish pie, lamb shoulder, steak/chicken pie, beef bougihon etc), all delicious & us geordies very happy with portion size. Lake district staple.

We chose the Phesant for our wedding anniversary meal, and it was excellent the food the service couldn't wish for anything better highly recommend it.

3rd year visit , never disappointed. Food, service and ambience first class.See you next year.

Meal was very refreshing after a hard day. Flavors were fresh and menu was exciting. I’m sorry they ran out of the roasted duck BUT the chicken pie was excellent! Make a reservation to ensure a table!

We have just enjoyed a truly superb Sunday roast here. Brilliant food, friendly service and never kept waiting for anything. Whole family was thrilled to bits. A big thanks to the Pheasant team for a memorable day. Highly recommended!

Hi , We have been visiting The Pheasant for a few years now . For myself and wife it’s always been the number one restaurant in Keswick . As a coeliac I have always found this a safe place to eat with plenty of choice . We visited last night to be told meals Iv had in the past are not now Gluten Free , which massively reduced my choice . The meal of choice was the Duck and the missus had the lamb Henry both were superb and service excellent. I did enquire if they still did the lamb dish Gluten free as it now states on their bar menu it’s not . I’m therefor very suppressed as the above menu states it it can be served GF as well as the Vennison dish . This needs to be clarified for future visits . Many thanks

Having read some of the reviews on this place- I wonder what people want out of life- Some of you should go to MacDonalds or Kentucky Fried instead- that's the crap you should be reviewing .. We are from over 170 miles from Casa Bella and have been 4 times in 2 years- It has never disappointed either on very good quality food or service or staff attitude and it'll be the first place we book the next time we go to Keswick. If you want good Italian dining and atmosphere - go here-- that's why it's always full !!- make sure you book
