I had possibly the best fish pie ever. Lots of fish , the sauce not overpowering and the mash with cheesy topping a cream My husband had the steak pie no complaints

We always try and visit when we're in Keswick. It's what we call a proper pub. You can't go wrong with the Lakeland Beef Pie. It's delicious and just what you want after a good day's walking!! There's a good selection of beers and wines. The service is spot on too.

Absolutely delicious, our family of 4 all loved their meals and puddings. The steak pie was delightful. We will definitely visit again.

We had dinner there just this week, and it was a great experience. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was really tasty and there were big servings! Loved the Butternut Squash soup in particular. And the atmosphere is...perfect. Don't miss this terrific pub in you're in Keswick!

We went here for an evening meal whilst on holiday in Keswick. The staff are very friendly and the service is excellent. The menu provides plenty of choice and the food was delicious. We will certainly return next time we are in Keswick.

Arrived a little early but allowed to take a seat at our table. Ordered a drink at the bar prior to sitting but first thing offered was the drinks service. Had a starter and main which sadly didn’t leave sufficient space for a desert. Homemade butternut squash soup for starters was fantastic so soup of the day worth a try. The main was great with ample portions. Service was fantastic and we were well looked after. We will return next time we are in Keswick.

What can I say that I haven't said before on previous reviews, the service we received was outstanding answering questions on food from the special board , looking after us ,the quality of food outstanding, from start to finish excellent

Excellent food, attentive staff, good selection of real ales, reasonably priced menu, dog friendly pub too, what's not to like. A pub we return to when we visit Keswick. Book in advance, as others appreciate this pub too.

We had a fantastic meal at The Pheasant Inn. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The food was excellent, good portions and quality.

Funny old place. The Venison was dry and the dumpling not at all pleasant over powered with herbs and a little raw tasting. The steak pie would have been great apart from the herbs in the gravy. The Gambas Pil Pil were amazing!! All deserts were also fantastic. The seating was a little cramped as I had to sit side saddle for most of my main meal.

Another fabulous meal. We always make a point of visiting when we holiday in Keswick. Staff are welcoming and friendly and the food is excellent. Make sure you book well ahead, cos this place is always full ❤️

We went here for Sunday lunch whist on holiday. The staff were lovely and friendly. The food was amazing compliments to the chef and although we would have liked a pudding we were too full. I have never seen such large Yorkshire puddings on a Sunday lunch. We would thoroughly recommend this pub to anyone. Lovely food and excellent value for money.

After a first visit, we booked directly a table again for two days later. The food on both evenings was delicious. The portions have been so generous that we had to skip the dessert.

It's been a couple of years since we were last at the Pheasant and I'm pleased to say it did not disappoint. Food was delicious and despite arriving early on a busy evening our table was ready. I would recommend the Pheasant. Lovely short walk to it through the park from Keswick.
