Food excellent as always Staff very friendly and helpful.

First visit here and really enjoyed the food. Service was excellent and staff very friendly. Lovely menu and reasonably priced. We did find the music a touch loud but I think that was just because our table was near the speaker. Would definitely recommend to others and will return next time we visit Keswick.

We discovered The Pheasant a few years back and love it! The staff are absolutely fantastic, nothing is too much trouble for them. Incredibly welcoming and a really nice place to eat. The beer and the food is first class, prices are very reasonable too. Dog friendly, it blows the competition out of the water. Our first choice when staying in the Northern Lake District.

Menu was varied and reasonably priced. Food we had was top notch. Service was friendly but slow. Tables are very close together, we were unfortunate to have a table next to an extremely loud group of people, it spoiled our experience somewhat as they had no regard for fellow diners

My friend and I had a delicious Sunday lunch. Both service and food were top class. Thank you and I look forward to returning very soon.

Wow, the food here was amazing! I had the beef pie whilst my husband had the venison. Melt in your mouth meat, great service and the kids loved the sticky toffee pudding! Not the cheapest but definitely worth it!

As always we had a fantastic meal with friends. The food was outstanding, we all chose different options and everybody was impressed. Even the dog enjoyed her venison chew. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and professional throughout despite being very busy. Highly recommend !

Spent some time in Keswick last week and went to the Pheasant several times. They are very dog friendly and the food and drinks are first class. They could bring anything from the menu and it would be fabulous. Once we have selected a meal we often look jealously at other people’s selections.

This is probably the best Pub for food in Keswick in my opinion.Been here a few times and the Food is always just perfect. Just a great evening.

We visit the Pheasant whenever we are on holiday in Keswick, about three times a year. The quality of food is always exceptional and the service is second to none. Let them know in advance if you are taking a dog, and the staff go out of their way to be helpful. Can’t speak highly enough of the place. If it’s beer you’re after with your meal, there’s always a top selection. Nothing plastic about the Pheasant, it’s a rustic delight.

Booked here for a meal on our last night in Keswick, no regrets. Despite being a little cramped in the bar area due to having our pup with us, we can not fault this place at all. We enjoyed 3 courses, and each meal was absolutely stunning. The beef pie was just incredible. We will definitely be returning here on our next trip to Keswick!

Visited for Sunday lunch as a family. Everything was spot in. Food was delicious and presented lovely. Good selection on menu and drinks. Staff were all amazing too. Thanks everyone.
