Had 2 venjoyable meals at Pheasant this week with my wife. Food,service & atmosphere were all excellent. This was while we were in Keswick for short break. We live in SouthYorkshire so unfortunately are not likely to be back in Keswick any time soon

"Memorable, simply memorable" - the comment I made to the attentive FOH staff, regarding their Lamb Henry Dish (who also remembered my name on leaving - nice touch). The kind of dish, that i'll specifically come back here to eat again.... and again. Amazing. Lovely staff, lovely pub, great food at a good price point. Congrats to all the team there. Keep doing what you are doing.

We have revisited after enjoying previous meals,and will definitely be returning. Excellent menu choice

Enjoyed another fantastic meal at the Pheasant, always our first choice when we visit the Lakes. Delicious food, friendly professional staff and a brilliant atmosphere in the pub. Looking forward to our next visit.

We managed to get a last minute reservation and enjoyed a first class meal in lovely surroundings with great staff. Pub dining at its best! The prices are very reasonable too. All in all, a very very enjoyable evening, we certainly intend to return. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing meal here, service was excellent with lovely friendly and attentive staff. The food was superb, much more than your average pub food that you normally get in Keswick and we definitely go back when we are next in the Lakes (it’s just out of the main area of pubs, but well worth the walk) Cannot fault any of it

Excellent food not just standard pub grub. I had the venison bourguignon which was delicious. My wife had the slow cooked lamb which was just as expected but she couldn't finish it all...I helped. Also the fish pie was delicious full of prawns and fish with loads of buttery mash on top. Good selection of beers too. Would and have highly recommend it to everyone.

Had 2 evenings meals here, great on both occasions. Great atmosphere and great food with good gluten free options too!

We were recommended this pub while we were staying in Keswick, it's a lovely place, plenty of staff on hand. Fantastic Sunday lunch. We should have visited more than once during our stay, will definitely call again next time we are in the area.

Really enjoyed a lovely meal. Very friendly bar staff and restaurant staff. Food was really hot and nicely presented. Food served quickly and efficiently. Great atmosphere, cosy fire.

So good, we ate there both nights of our 2 night stay in Keswick. Great atmosphere, lovely staff, and a varied menu. A proper pub, warm, friendly, good food.

Good food and beer in a friendly atmosphere.

We had a really lovely Sunday dinner yesterday 16 March. The star of the show was the beef roast - beef was great served with lovely caramelized carrots & parsnip & leek in a cream sauce made it even better. (I think it was a better choice than the a la carte mrnue.

Excellent meal and service always visit the pheasant when visiting Keswick, already booked again for this week.

First time at The Pheasant inn and it definitely won’t be my last. The best Sunday lunch I’ve ever had and the best service.

Great service and excellent food Lamb Henry was a real pleasure very good and huge portion. Good beer and fabulous service no complaints at all which is rare nowadays highly recommended
