Every time we come to Keswick we book Sunday lunch. We absolutely love the food. The Yorkshires are huge! Staff very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to the next time we visit. Thank you team pheasant.

Fabulous pub - we booked in twice over the weekend for our family pre-Christmas getaway. The food was excellent, great menu, great choice of well-kept ales, a lovely cosy and welcoming environment, brilliant staff each one considerate, attentive and friendly. I can't recommend this place enough. Head and shoulders the best pub in Keswick in my opinion and I have been in all of them at various points in the last few years!

We visited for an evening meal this week, the food was absolutely gorgeous. A great selection of Ale and larger also. When we are next in Keswick, this will be the first place we visit for food!

Recently went for Sunday lunch a party of 4. The service and meal was very good, and would not hesitate to recommend the Pheasant Inn and we will be returning for another meal.

Beautiful pub, beautiful food and lovely staff

Another excellent meal at the Pheasant, Keswick last night. We eat there each time we visit Keswick which is usually every 4-6 weeks. The food is always delicious, piping hot and generous in quantity. Dan and his team work hard to deliver quality home cooked food with a friendly service and a smile. Our favourites are the Venison Bourguignon, Barbery Duck breast, pan seared pheasant and the steaks are excellent ! Real vegetables and proper chips or dauphinoise potatoes. Highly recommend!

Amazing food last night! I had the Lamb Henry and my wife had the Cumberland sausage. Lovely, friendly staff. Good value for money! Would highly recommend.

Beautifully cooked food - fish pie with 75% fish! and Venison Bourgignon with super tender meat, lovely veg, cooked al denté - great service and good real ale and pub atmosphere. Wish this pub was our local.

Dined here whilst visiting the area after looking for somewhere to eat on TripAdvisor. Went for the festive Turkey Sunday lunch. It was outstanding, all home cooked, full of festive flavour and the best Sunday lunch I've had in a long time. Service great too and goo value. Wish I'd have visited both nights we were in the area.

Every time we visit Keswick we make sure we eat at the Pheasant Inn. The food has always been excellent. The Venison dish is outstanding. Looking forward to our next visit.

Food is amazing the pub is beautifully decorated for Christmas and so cosy with the open fire. My favourite is the Lakeland pie. Great selection of beers. The service was excellent. Thanks Ian

Lovely food and atmosphere! There is always a warm welcome here and in December the open fire, hearty food and friendly service was the perfect escape from a stormy outside world. Well done everyone.

Superb Sunday lunch. Food was the best I’ve tasted for a long time and the service was second to none.

We had the privilege of eating at The Pheasant twice whilst we had a winter break in Keswick. We had booked for Sunday lunch and arrived early so we could enjoy a drink at the bar. My husband enjoyed both the Pheasant ale and the Wainwrights. Our lunch was out of this world, beautifully cooked chicken, masses of vegetables, creamy mash potatoes as well as roast and Yorkshire pudding with plenty of gravy. We came back a few days later and had an evening meal, my husband gammon filled the plate and had 2 freshly cooked eggs, I ordered the venison bourguignon couldn’t believe how much venison I was served. It was tender and the sauce was rich. We were also served a bowl of well cooked hand cut chips and a plate of vegetables, On both occasions we were greeted warmly, service friendly and the food outstanding.
