First visit to the pheasant on Sunday Lovely Sunday lunch plenty of meat and cheesy leeks were delicious. Pub had good atmosphere lovely roaring fire in the bar visited as a couple 1 dog staff very pleasant did think it was tad pricey but we were in the lakes £17.95 for Sunday lunch £8.95 dessert would def return though think we bit out of touch with prices x

Pheasant Inn – Keswick80th birthday, ten family members. Loved the table setting. Main waiter great but a couple of younger waiters did upset people with some unneeded comments. Food was very good except the Scampi which was mainly left and the Madras curry which were told was not overhot, oops it was and the meat was chewy, we did complain but nothing was done. Overall we had a great evening

Both mains were delicious, accompanied by chips, new potatoes and mash, with perfectly cooked vegetables served in a warm side dish. One dessert of sticky toffee pudding, freshly made. All served by the affable and efficient David.

Superb food, literally the best we’ve had in Keswick and we have been coming for decades! Amazing service, lovely cosy pub atmosphere. We highly recommend this place!
