A fabulous evening celebrating a birthday, fabulous food would highly recommend

We had a lovely meal here. Both of us had steak pie, served with hand-cut chips and freshly cooked vegetables ( cabbage, carrots and peas). The food was excellent, service was friendly and efficient, despite how busy it was. There were two, larger tables of diners nearby, and it was lovely to see different items from the menu appearing. It made me keen to return. We will definitely come back next time we are in Keswick!

Great food with loads of choices (including for vegetarians and for kids). A lovely place with friendly and attentive service. Really recommend!

Very poor bad service too expensive.

Last night, we had the most delicious meal. What value for money with such amazing, homemade food. The service was excellent and they catered for us, as a dog friendly family, beautifully. Would highly recommend to families, couples, groups and dog friendly families. It was just fab-u- lous!

Had the most beautiful tasting Sunday lunch at the Pheasant Inn. Everything about our visit was brilliant,... the food, the drinks and the service received. Will be going back in a couple of days to try something different. Fantastic.

We had 2 lovely meals in a nice setting, we tried booking again on our 4th night but it was fully booked. The service was first class.

As always, a beautiful meal in cosy surroundings, friendly staff and great value for money. We always make a point of visiting the Pheasant Inn whenever we are in the Lakes.

Over the past few years, when in Keswick, we have always looked forward to our meal at the Pheasant. This year however, for the first time, we were disappointed. We all selected the meat pie as it has always been outstanding. This year there were no options regarding the sIze and the price was considerably more than we had experienced. The quality of the pastry was poor and the cost of our meal, always being the most competitive in the past was greatly increased. I know there have been huge increases in food prices but compared to other establishments that we visited, we felt that the Pheasant had failed to match up.The service from the lady who served us was excellent but despite this I don’t think we will visiting the Pheasant in the future, which is a great shame

We made two visits in a week to the Pheasant Inn in Keswick and we were not disappointed either time. The first was for Sunday lunch. We booked online very easily and when we arrived we got a lovely warm welcome and were seated straight away. It didn't take long for the food to reach us even though they were quite busy. The staff were very friendly and helpful which created a great atmosphere. The food was wonderful (chicken and leek pie with chips and a huge perfectly cooked roast beef dinner) especially the creamed leeks and red cabbage. I have to say that it was the best Yorkshire pudding I've ever had in a pub restaurant. The next visit on the Thursday was just as welcoming though it was a lot busier. The food was perfect again (Cumberland sausage with mash and salmon on crushed new potatoes). It was very hard to choose as it was a very interesting and varied menu and all sounded delicious. We will definitely be back.

Excellent food and service at competitive prices. The prawn cocktail and Fish pie were both very good with generous portions of quality ingredients.

Lovely, friendly atmosphere and welcoming staff. We ate here on 2 consecutive nights as the menu was so good. We thoroughly enjoyed both meals. The sea bass fillets were cooked to perfection and the presentation was very good. Staff were extremely efficient and patient on both very busy nights. Will visit again when in the area.

Fabulous home cooked Sunday lunch and proper puddings. Couldn’t fault it!

Very pleasant evening meal. Hearty food. Ideal after a weekend running the Lakeland Trails. Friendly, sociable atmosphere as the pub was packed with happy diners in warm, comfortable surroundings. Enjoyed the Fish Pie, although it was a tough choice as I also fancied the Venison Bourguignon. Apple and Gooseberry Crumble was lovely. Good selection of Ales, particularly enjoyed the Pheasant Ale. Will return.

We came here for my big sister's birthday lunch. We were a bit disappointed to find very little for vegans on the menu, but honestly the staff couldn't do enough for us. They were absolutely amazing - so attentive and kind. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service could not be bettered. Thankyou folk, great job!

We had a wonderful meal at this warm and welcoming pub on Wednesday night. The staff were very attentive, the atmosphere was cosy and the menu had a good choice of food. The meal was superb and I especially enjoyed the Balmoral Chicken. Great find.

Really good food and a warm friendly atmosphere. If we lived locally it would be our go to pub.
