Been here for the last 3 nights eating and we can not felt it at all . Rush off there feet but still do the best for you . It’s got to b good cos we keep coming …

We have been to the Pheasant Inn quite a few times and always book a table for our first night in Keswick. The food is very good and the staff are lovely which makes for an enjoyable evening. In fact we are going back on Friday evening for another meal.

We dined at several hostelries in Keswick this week, but The Pheasant was by far the best. We booked in advance (crucial) as we had been before on a previous holiday, and know it's a popular pub for dining. The staff were brilliant and the food was absolutely delicious. The craft ales were also on top form, and in such a lovely old historic and cosy venue, it made for another lovely and memorable meal. We cannot wait to return on our next stay in Keswick. Thanks again team!

We had the pleasure to Kat whilst on a Lakeland well being forage n feast where kat cooked for us on an open fire, we then had the pleasure to eat at Kay’s kitchen on two separate night, the first evening we had the Aussie burger and it was amazing really tasty, my partner had the pate which she said was the nicest pate she’s ever had, the second day which was a Sunday we opted for the Sunday roast which was out of this world, kats a lovely woman who has passion and you can taste it in her food,

Such a cosy friendly atmosphere. Great choice of food and everything our group of 5 ordered was thoroughly enjoyed. The lamb Henry is so tasty and so huge my dog enjoyed it too!

Meal was absolutely fabulous with great service from all the friendly staff. Brilliant atmosphere. Good value for money. Will be booking again for next visit in summer.

Friendly staff, fresh food but lacking a little atmosphere because it's on a busy road but did visit twice and will definitely visit again.

Third visit this week … three different meals …. excellent again. We’ll be back!

Can’t fault anything from the meal last night. Particular shout out to the service which was super friendly and dialled in. Was sceptical that cheese would work with the fish pie as per staff recommendation but it was a winner. Sticky toffee pudding was a banger. If I lived here I’d be going all the time.

Good food, well-presented and sensibly priced. Menu is varied with lots of choice. Great atmosphere in cosy pub setting for bar snacks or, there is the restaurant area for more private dining. Friendly, helpful staff who work hard to ensure service is prompt and efficient. Every time I'm in Keswick, I make a point of dining at the Pheasant. It never disappoints.

Again excellent… three different meals thoroughly enjoyed. Can’t wait for our next visit

Very enjoyable meal at The Pheasant. Good menu with plenty of choice, all reasonably priced. Very friendly staff and good service. Will be booking again next time I’m in Keswick. Booking important it is very popular!

Excellent food, friendly service

Great and tasty home cooked Sunday lunch food that is presented very nice., a great selection of vegetable and well cooked meat. The hospitality from arrival to departure was efficient and courteous. Thanks

Great if you’re a vegan, tolerable for non vegans. The ‘vegans’ in the party loved it, the ‘non vegans’ found it OK. Relaxed atmosphere and attentive service. If you like getting dressed up then this isn’t the place for you. Sadly no wine list despite it being the evening. Disappointed that there was only one ‘dessert’, only other options were slices of cake.

Disappointing . Limited menu with items straight out of packets rather than homemade . Expensive for what it was . Waitress forgot one item we ordered which was a surprise as not busy Would not go again sadly

WOW! Booked a table at this little gem of a place for my brother and I to have dinner (visiting the area to distribute my parents ashes according to their wishes). What a fabulous meal, enhanced by fantastic and friendly staff. Beef pie and chicken & ham pies were first class. Camembert and garlic mushroom starters were good - as was the cheeseboard. Will certainly visit again when we are next up
