We stayed this December in Keswick for my husbands 50th birthday celebrations. We booked a meal at the Pheasant Inn, Keswick for a party of 12, the quality of food, service, atmosphere and friendliness of ALL the staff was absolutely spot on. The staff could not do enough for us, highly recommend.

A cosy pub with excellent food, a cosy log fire and super friendly staff! We came for a meal at Christmas and were not disappointed. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the staff genuinely cared and were interested in our holiday, brilliant hospitality! I really liked the timber beams and rustic feel as we sat by the log fire, having our 3 course meal. The quality of the food was spot on. Defo worth a stopping by for dinner but be sure to book on advice.

The pheasant inn is a real find we had a wonderful meal so booked again for the next day, the staff are very helpful and welcoming the food is first class, we go to keswick every year the pheasant inn will be our choice for dinner or lunch when we are there, great place to relax open fire and good food and great service.

A little gem with a cosy atmosphere and open fires. Excellent food and a very friendly and welcoming service. Highly recommend and is now one of our new favourite places in Keswick

Great pub in convenient location with superb atmosphere, warm & friendly service, and a range of decent food (including several, thoughtful non-meat options). Despite being booked in right at the end of the kitchen hours, we didn’t feel hurried in any way. Even after finishing-up the meal with the pub emptying out, no-one hounded us with the bill to try to get us out the door as quickly as possible. Enjoyed it so much the first time we made a return visit only a couple of days later to make the most of the opportunity during our shortish stay in the Lakes. Very much recommended!

Visiting the lakes and see the pheasant inn on Google, I must say the food was excellent as was the atmosphere. My only small gripe was the seating was very snug, all in all very nice experience, and would definitely return if back in the area again. Thanks.

Cosy and very friendly pub with great meal options for everyone’s taste. There were four of us having an evening meal and two went for the beef pie and two for a vegetarian option , all were delicious as was the perfectly cooked accompanying veg. Great traditional pub with atmosphere to match. Dog friendly.

First rate meal. Certainly left a lot heavier than when I went in and very good value too. Thank you.

An excellent meal again at The Pheasant. Service ,food and atmosphere excellent. We also had our dog with us and she was made very welcome . Will definitely return the next time we are in Keswick x

Was down visiting parents in workington and booked here for Sunday Lunch, it was fabulous best tasting Roast Beef, proper Yorkshire pudding and Roast potatoes , staff were amazingly helpful, would def recommend you try it well worth it.

This is the Best Pub In the Lakes...The Food is excellent...The staff are more than accommodating.... And make you feel welcome. We always eat here when visiting Keswick it's a tradition of which we look forward too! I had the Beef Madras... Recommended by the delightful Barman who assured me It wasn't Too Hot and he was right.... The Beef was so tender and tasty... The food was well presented and Piping Hot... nd great value for money It's a delight and the Locals are lucky to have this Pub on their doorstep the best in Keswick.... we will be back! Well done to all at The Pheasant Inn!!

Food was excellent as was service. Disappointed no starters available due to staff shortages

A group of us went for Sunday lunch and we were not disappointed. Delicious food, cosy environment and staff superb. Would definitely visit again when in Keswick
