Excellent service and food. Delicious fish pie. Steak pie for my husband was excellent too. Staff were very friendly. Dessert was really tasty and never had it before. Gooseberry apple treacle crumble. Just a little cold where we were sitting but we soon warmed up with food.

Made the booking on line and received confirmation email. On arrival no trace of booking in your system! A table was found by a very helpful member of staff. Served a pint of Loweswater Gold clearly from the bottom of the barrel, staff were told but still served, returned and got a fresh one after barrel was changed Roast beef and roast pork dinners ordered. Stingy with the slices of both. Asked for extra gravy. Was told it was another 20p, I checked the date; April Fools Day? This is a disgrace. Then asked for a Yorkshire Pudding for the pork dinner, £1 extra. You should be embarrassed!! You must really be struggling financially. Someone needs to get a life! The one thing that stood out was the service from the staff, professional, efficient, personable. They saved the day!

We had a very pleasant meal, the steak was magnificent, followed by 2 very good puddings. Service was attentive and efficient. Would go again next time we are in the Lake District.

On arrival, the pub was very busy and there was lots of hustle & bustle. We told the barman we had a table booked & he asked us to wait & went off to check. We then saw chairs being carried from the main bar area to a side room. A few minutes later we were told to follow him to our table. Which, on reflection, we think was hastily set up. Against a door in a side room with not much space to move. Menus were put in front of us the the drink order was taken. Drinks were brought to us, and then a few minutes later, someone came to ask if we were ready to order our food. I said I would start with , were I was interrupted and told that starters weren't being served & had no one told us. Well obviously not! In the same room their was five young boys and because of the close proximity we could hear them swearing all the time they were chatting. Although the food was really good were we were disappointed about the seating and not being informed there was no starters available.

Excellent food and service, as for our visits before the lockdowns. The Sunday roasts were a real treat.

Great food, great service and great value for money

8 of us went to the Pheasant Inn for an evening meal.We received a very warm welcome from the staff. Food was lovely I had the Fish Pie it was gorgeous. Would definitely return

Excellent food, very friendly staff. First time here but we will definitely be back. It was just a stop off before we headed away for the weekend but would of loved to of stayed all afternoon. Whoever chose the music has excellent taste too! :-)

That the Pheasant Inn was so busy on the evening of Monday January 2nd tell you lots about how good it is. We were a table of 3 and booked the day before, having failed to get in on several previous trips to Keswick. The menu is reassuringly limited suggesting they actually cook the food but it is sufficiently varied to provide for most tastes. Despite being short staffed the service was good- warm, friendly and sufficiently efficient. The food was great and so was the beer. Will gladly return on future trips to Keswick, if we can get in!

This is a great pub. The food is fab ( fish pie superb). The staff are lovely and work very hard. Love the fact you can now book on line.

We had an evening meal on New Years day. The food was lovely and a really decent portion. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. We eat here every time we visit Keswick and are never disappointed. Would recommend a visit

We went here for New Year’s Day Sunday lunch it was absolutely superb… the food was outstanding and the staff very friendly, helpful and fabulous welcoming atmosphere will definitely be returning and definitely worth a visit ..

Good pub food in a lovely traditional pub atmosphere. Friendly staff and goid service. Will definitely return when we are in Keswick.
