A firm favourite of ours and has become our go to, whether for special occasions or simply a treat. Service with a smile, an excellent menu and importantly for me a wide choice of gluten free options. All served piping hot, another important aspect for me. We would not hesitate to recommend the Lunesdale Arms

Very enjoyable visit as always with pleasant staff and good food

First time visit with friends from the area. Very impressed al round. A very special restaurant, great decoration, tables nicely separated and a warm atmosphere. The staff were great, very accomodating and pleasant to deal with behind the bar and in the restaurant. The quality of the food and range offered was great. Two of the four us opted to share five dishes from across the menu which again was handled totally professionally by the kitchen and on service. It was absolutely great. For the quality of food on offer the prices were perfectly reasonable and no ‘discretionary service charge’ featured. Will definitely be returning even from Manchester. Spot on!! Thank you.

Really enjoyable. Great food, great service, quite quiet as we ate at 3 on a Sunday. Maybe could be slightly cheaper though probably on a par with similar places nearby. Will definitely eat there again

Literally the best Sunday Roast I have had in years. Couldn’t fault a thing with it. Only suggestion would be offer a large one as could have eaten more beef. We will be back

Excellent! Came for lunch with friends. Friends had never been before, we had not had lunch here before. Staff friendly, efficient, as usual. Food absolutely delicious as well. Cant wait to come back

Good vegetarian options available, which was why we visited the Lunesdale Arms. Nice atmosphere and good quality food at a reasonable price.

Food was lovely but the long delay in waiting for our order somewhat was very disappointing. Also we had to ask twice for water. I was really looking forward to the shredded duck salad only to be told that there was no more duck.

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious meal at The Lunesdale, our first visit for a while. We were happy to be in old familiar, stylish surroundings and the chef and friendly service were excellent. We certainly didn’t leave feeling hungry! We both HIGHLY RECOMMEND and will certainly return.

First impression of the ambiance was .......beautiful. felt comfortable and welcome. Food was delightful. Best meal in a very long time. Staff great, polite and very responsive. Will eat there again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Our local…not been since the change of ownership but happy to say the standards haven’t slipped. The girls were extremely personably smiley and friendly. The place serves superb food at an affordable cost. Only minor criticism is the pictures on the walls in the dining room, not sure about the taste but superb meal out. Best in the area in my opinion.

The previous owners ran an excellent gastro pub. I did wonder, will it be as good? It certainly was, we'll be back. I would definitely recommend giving the Lunesdale a go.

Excellent quality food, well presented and very tasty, we have been before and we will certainly return again. Great service and faultless in every way.
