We booked dinner here while on holiday. The food was delicious and well presented. The restaurant was very busy and noisy but this did not spoil our night. My only criticism would be that the service was a little slow but the staff were very friendly and polite.

An absolutely fabulous meal. My husband had the pie of the day which was game pie and it was delicious - stuffed with meat in a lovely gravy. We started with a scotch egg which was cooked to perfection and the chicken liver paté. To be honest, I was pretty full after eating the paté which was served with a small salad and an onion compote. I only managed to eat half my fish despite it being medium in size as the portions here are very generous so come hungry. We've lunched here a few times now and the food is consistently good using fresh ingredients. Can thoroughly recommend eating here.

This was our first visit ( courtesy of a gift voucher) but it definitely wont be our last. We were a party of five ,and each of us enjoyed our main meal , and dessert. The food is very good, and the staff very pleasant . Look forward to returning

I had Sunday lunch at the Lunesdale Arms recently with my mum and my husband and we all really enjoyed our food! I had the pork roast dinner which was delicious and my husband particularly relished the duck leg with spinach and parmesan risotto. In addition the service was excellent and the atmosphere lively without being overwhelming or noisy. A very pleasant experience.

Our second visit and just as beautiful as the first. The food, we ordered tapas - delicious each and every plate. The dessert, ganache, was heavenly, transponding you to a blissful place with every mouthful - a delight. Presentation was excellent! The staff were very friendly and the toilet was spotless! Ambience was welcoming wifh the right music and decor on-point. Good value for money too. I'll definitely keep coming back. Keep it up.

visited this evening for a much needed kid free meal! myself and my husband had 3 courses each and a couple of drinks, the food was outstanding, we could not fault it! from starter to dessert we enjoyed every mouthful. after enjoying our meal we paid our bill and left, this is where it went from being a wonderful evening to leaving a sour taste... we got into our car for a lady to come running out to the car checking if we paid! she thought we had left without paying, surely a quick check at the till or asking another member of staff if we had paid would have been a better way to find out but instead she came flagging our car down for us to show her our card receipt proving we paid the £103 bill, did we look the sort that would leave without paying?

2nd visit as we live too far to be regulars but when we visit the area next, we'll be booking again. Everything was really good - the food, friendly and efficient service, the Sauvingnon. Until next time.
