I’d love to be able to say this place was amazing, but I would be lying, really lying. It started when we arrived and the booking couldn’t be found, we were asked to get a drink at the bar whilst they sorted us a table, not a problem, only we’d not even finished pouring our drink from the bottle to the glass when we were being pushed to our table. Our table, in the corner, where it seems we were forgotten about, which is impossible as we were next to quite possibly the loudest table in history, with kids literally throwing food so everyone knew of our presence in the same area! We waited over 30 minutes to order, we were literally getting ready to leave when they came over to take it, we ordered, we ordered sides/starters to come with our meals so we could share and another round of drinks, 30 mins later, still no drinks, 15 mins after the drinks, so a good 45 mins from ordering we got 1 starter brought to the table. Nothing else. 3 little wings, 1 plate, between three of us. When mentioned about everything coming together we were told the chef had read the cheque wrong, and offered for them to be kept warm, and then someone else told us the chef had 2 more orders to do, and then would get ours out! The mains came. No sides though. When we could we asked about these and was told the order hadn’t gone through properly, but they would do them. As a gesture of good will they would knock off our drinks. Sides came after a few minutes, lukewarm. Now I would over look the absolute shoddy service, if the food was great. But it wasn’t, it was mediocre at best, the bbq sauce on the ribs was completely overpowering, almost vinegar like. The burger was tough, so tough I didn’t eat it. And the brisket, well the brisket it was fine, but the potion was shoddy, if you’re hungry make sure you order extra because it honestly wouldn’t have fed my 12 year old. The onion rings were alright, and the Texas toast was very not Texas toast like, the only saving grace was the wings, and the chips, which were lovely! Anyway, we got the bill, and low and behold, the drinks wasn’t even taken off. We called it quits, paid, and left. Honestly wouldn’t recommend, and certainly wouldn’t return.

Our first visit to Henry’s was great, service was focused and timely, pleasant with a smile ! We both orders brisket and it sis not disappoint at all .. we have lived in the USA for 6 years and had our share of good food and bbq ! … the food was excellent with everything being served hot and fresh and the brisket is some of the best I’ve had … traditional smoke and done with care … hot honey sauce was superb and bbq was fab !! Well done team Henry’s … we will visit again …

Very Poor.! We had been seated for 20 minutes before we were asked 'Do you wish to order some food' ?. What other reason one would go to a restaurant, I can not imagine. All of us only ordered a main course. It took at least 45 minutes for the first of the meals to be served, and then at least 5 minutes before some more were served, with, ironically, the smallest dish being served as the first served meals had been consumed. In mitigation, the person serving the food did apologise and offers us all a complimentary drink. A gratuity was made by all of the party, but regrettably, I for one, will not be returning.

Our recent one night away had been delayed due to my lower back ,having sustained a sprain the day before. Luckily we were able to reschedule and also we were happy that the Christmas decorations were still in place! Having dined at Henry’s Smokehouse twice before, we were very much looking forward to the lovely food. I was particularly keen to try the brisket having enjoyed it so much last time. This time it was just as tasty, along with our shared ‘pans’ of chicken tenders, onion rings, cheese & bacon fries and Texas toast! The place itself has a lovely setting and thankfully still “Christmassy!” It was quite quiet most likely after the busy Christmas and New Year period. We found the staff friendly but service was a little on the slow side. The food though was delicious and we won’t hesitate to visit again in the not too distant future.

Honestly what can I say other than this place is superb! Showed up as an advert on my Facebook food looked and sounded incredible, told the partner about it and we booked it for tea that night! Walked in and I was immediately put at ease, a friendly welcome and Luke combs playing on the speakers! Seated at our table and was brought some water for the table, shame the pumps was having problems but had a nice pint of Budlight and didn't put us off, now the food, absolutely beautiful, I love me some Brisket and the Brisket i had on my mac & cheese was stunning! Portion size was spot on! Kids menu was different to the one I'd seen online before going but wasn't a problem, my girls just fussy, and was expecting something different, The previous menu i saw photo of online had hot dogs & pizza on (the menu in person didnt), but she was fine! And happy they had Beans! Partner demolished his burger and we have both said we will definitely be back and can't wait! Great food, Great service, great music!!!, warm and inviting atmosphere! See you again soon Henry's!!

New Year's Eve waited 2.5 hours for our meal . I felt sorry for the staff as it just seemed there was far to many orders going out for take away leaving the customers eating in with popadoms on there table for over an hour. The staff were very apologetic it was not their fault . We ended up taking 4 curries 4 rice and naan home with us as the children were tired. Just think less booking or stop doing take away or find a balance . Not many happy people in there last night between 6:30 and 9pm

Absolutely amazing food, had the make your own combo ribs and link sausages wow just wow, partner had brisket which was amazing also, be coming back again soon.

Food was great and 100% the real deal if your a meat lover. After booking at the last minute we weren't sure what to expect but had a great time all round frok the service to the food and overall value (even took some home there was so much) Will definitely come again. Thanks guys!

Have been several times and the food is always fantastic. We did make an error booking for New Years Eve however. We expected it to be busy and there to be a wait. However, with a booking for 7pm we didn’t expect to be waiting 2 hours before we were brought our main course. A set menu for NYE I had hoped would mean a fairly straightforward meal but after an hour and half with nothing but poppadoms we ended asking to skip the other starters and go straight to main. Such a shame as the service has always been amazing and we will go again but lessons need to be learned around resourcing big events. Was such a shame

Excellent night at the New Year’s Eve party. Food great, DJ great and the staff went above and beyond to make sure that a good night was had by all. Thank you

Booked a table for a celebration only to get a phone call 5 hours later to tell me they weren’t actually open that day so I shouldn’t have been able to book online. If they can’t. Get a booking right doesn’t say a lot for their food so don’t think I will bother

24 12 25 A slight mix up with our reservation but the team went out of their way to sort everything out in plenty of time. Christmas lunch was delicious and the regular menu was very much enjoyed by the rest of the party. Excellent food, and outstanding service. Very enjoyable all round. Good value for money too.

Our first try going to an Indian for a Christmas day meal. I'm happy to report it was an excellent idea. The food was a set menu for the starters, with a choice of several mains. The owner offered to modify the mains to our taste had we required. Desert was an Asian doughnut with ice cream, yum. Christmas pudding was also an option. There was a traditional Turkey menu available for people who didn't want Indian food. Handy for large family groups. We booked again for next year before we left.

Excellent food, excellent service & excellent value. Well recommended
