Great meal again service spot on

We recently visited The Kingfisher for my birthday tea with my granddaughter and her friend my husband and our best friends. The service was exceptional and the food really nice. We have been a few times before and will continue to go again next time we're up here. It felt very relaxing and it's really good value for money. We all chose a different meal and we all enjoyed our food

First visit for a long time. Excellent meal, fresh cooked, served piping hot. Polite and efficient staff.

Appalling couldn’t find the booking for the 2nd time, last time we left without eating. didn’t have the menu for wings Wednesday waited an hour for the food to arrive and when it did it was inedible, tasted of chemicals. There was no way the food had been anywhere near a smoker or BBQ.

Great service and lovely meal 10/10 once again. We visited on a Friday evening. Plenty of parking, instantly welcomed by staff and quick service for drinks and food. Food was lovely, nice atmosphere and great throughout. Wasn’t rushed and all staff came and asked if we were good throughout. Thank you. Will be returning :)

We went on a recommendation from someone who had eaten here whilst working for me and staying at the hotel next door. He recommended the brisket and it didn’t disappoint. Great service from an enthusiastic team. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to other people

Tried the Kingfisher for the first time since being new to the area. Staff very welcoming. Waited half an hour for our food to come after ordering which is acceptable as the food was being made fresh. Our meals arrived piping hot and plentiful. Very enjoyable so we will return.

I had booked a table on the system and arrived for our 12.30 booking. On arrival the doors were shut but a lovely guy cane to the door and explained they aren’t open until 3pm but on learning we’d booked we were invited in. All the staff were excellent and looked after us which was great as it was lunch out for my girlfriend’s birthday. The food as always was incredible. Great flavours and quality ingredients. Highly recommended place that we love to go to. A great family run restaurant that never disappoints

Everything about our meal was fantastic! Staff - professional, polite and friendly Ambience - it's an old pub. It is what you make of it. Food - OFF THE CHART GOOD!!!! The meats are beyond excellent! Just everything about our food was perfect with one, bizarre exception - there was just too much food! My partner and I had the sharing platter, and the meats arrived on one huge plate, and then a mountain of chips, slaw and onion rings arrived on another. I was fit to burst by the time we finished - but I still managed a desert! (absolutely fantastic as well - and I'm normally disappointed with deserts in general) If you're thinking about whether to eat here - stop thinking and book a table, you won't regret it!

The Sunday buffet was delicious, there was plenty of choice of both starters and mains as well as the usual dips, salad etc. The service was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful with a great atmosphere in the retaurant
