Attended yesterday with my friend for an afternoon tea. Great waiter. Good at checking in. Great food. Choice of different tea or coffee. Endless teapot which was nice. Good choice of cakes. Scones were warm which was nice ... My ONLY criticism, the cream was not clotted cream. You can't have whipped or fake cream with a scone! Otherwise it would have been 5/5!

The atmosphere was very relaxed and the staff were very pleasant and friendly. Will definitely be back in the near future. The hotel is lovely and the gardens, which we had a walk around, are stunning. We'll worth a visit.

Nice scone but 'squirty cream' rather than clotted cream. Glad we didnt pay full price. Not recommended. Try the Midland in Manchester to see how it should be done.

We had a lovely time in a wonderful surroundings, a beautiful old building and stunning gardens. We managed to eat the sandwiches and scones but had to take the cakes home with us for eating the following day. And very delicious they were as well! Highly recommended.

We sat in the gardens which were perfect to walk round and play a quick game of ball. The staff were fabulous, very accommodating of our 4 legged guest. I'll he back again.
Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordVisited Mere Court Hotel with my husband yesterday (10/5/24) and this is our first ever visit and definitely wont be the last. First impressions didnt disappoint, the hotel and grounds are immaculate, and it was very easy to park. We were greeted at reception by 2 members of staff who were both pleasant and polite, we were shown to our table which was in a small area, very cosy, and immaculate overlooking the grounds. We had Traditional Afternoon Tea which was lovely and plentiful for 2 people, the atmosphere was relaxed and quiet. Afterwards we had a walk around the gardens and lake which was stunning. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a nice drive out on a sunny day for afternoon tea.

Rooms with a vintage look perfect for afternoon tea, making it a pleasurable experience. Staff lovely and the food was really tasty. Gardens are pretty with rhododendron's in bloom. Our second afternoon tea this time with family and can’t wait to come back. Thank you again!
