What a nice pub staff and locals l...very welcoming good service there were six of us we all had Sunday lunch it was very nice.

Party of 3 with a small dog. Very friendly and helpful staff, organised a table for us with little passing traffic and away from other dogs (our dog can get anxious) Food was lovely and service with a smile. Staff held it together very well, it was a very busy Sunday.

I booked a show at The Lancaster Grand Theatre, booked a hotel for the night and decided on The Sultan for an Indian meal before the show. We both thoroughly enjoyed the food. Had something a little different to my usual and have to say it was top notch. Service was good although a mistake on the bill had to be rectified, with an apology and a reduction. Wouldn’t hesitate to visit again when next in Lancaster.

We LOVE The Ship! The staff are amazing; so warm and friendly. We had dinner with my two young kids and the food was yummy. We’ll be back soon!!

Once again a lovely meal i will get past the steak and ale pie one of these nights, great pint of Wainwright's give it a try you won't be disappointed.

We had an excellent meal at the Station and would recommend eating here. The beer is well kept, the staff attentive and the rooms/decor is up to date. The food choices were plentiful, and the goats cheese pizza and steak pie a real treat.

Absolutely delicious. We had the steak for £15 such good quality, and great chips. As someone who can be quite critical of food this was really up there. The price does not reflect the quality. Just proves you don't necessarily need to spend alot to have a great steak. I'll be recommending this spot.

We had a brilliant dinner for family of 5 yesterday. Amazing food, service, and atmosphere. Best meal out in Lancaster for a while. We will be back very soon!

Our go to every time for great food with lots of choice and perfect atmosphere ! The hanging chicken kebab is just perfect! And the brownie and cookie dough dessert are amazing !

My partner and myself tried out the steak night on Thursday which was excellent. The deal is choice of Ribeye or Sirloin with a bottle of wine for £40. The steak was perfectly cooked.My partner had sirloin with pepper sauce and I had the ribeye and asked for English mustard. The ribeye was so tasty which is locally sourced that I didn't need the mustard. The chips were also delicious

Enjoyed an excellent lunch yesterday with a large group of friends. We were very well looked after and everyone enjoyed the food. Good value too. Quite a few of us had something from the Lite Lunch menu where there is plenty of choice and it’s great value.

Called for Sunday lunch and as before not disappointed, excellent service, excellent food and value for money what's not to like, all my best for your team and keep up the good work
