I have visited this restaurant on a few occasions now. One was for a friends birthday party and the others were with a couple of friends. The service on all my visits has been very good, especially for the birthday party where they gave us balloons and a birthday cake. The food is delicious (I recommend the paella) and the decor of the restaurant is exactly to my tastes. A meal here is a very enjoyable experience.

I recently visited this restaurant with a party of over 20 people. The friendly restaurant manager welcomed us personally and made sure our meal was a very enjoyable experience. The service was exceptionally quick for a party of this size and the food was very tasty. Highly recommended!

Have you ever wondered what happened to those wonderful country pubs with little intimate rooms and roaring fires. Never despair the Greyhound Halton has retained this ambience You can enjoy a wonderful meal for two in peaceful solitude or have a room for a family celebration and yet still be part of the wonderful crack at the bar.

Really good food, an absolute gem of a place ...let? hope it stays that way for a long time. Excellent presentation and just the right amount not too little but not to over facing, delicious little chocolates with coffee. A truly nice place to eat and it is so easy to get to just seconds of the A6 and a couple of mins from M6.

Have eaten there twice now and each time have not been disappointed. French chefs cooking in real french style - very enjoyable with a pleasant atmosphere. House wine very reasonable and palatable. A good evening.

Was recommended to try by friends who enjoyed the ice-cream, dropped in on the off-chance when passing luckily for us there was a space, the setting is excellent, modern, warm and comfortable. The staff were friendly and very accommodating, the food was just excellent, haven't had a really nice meal like this for a long, long time. Highly Recommended.

I have eaten at The Greyhound on a number of occasions and can safely say it is the best pub food I have ever had! This is much more than you would expect to get in a pub and extremely good value for money. The menu is very varied and caters for everyone and nothing disappoints! (especially not the homemade fish and chips!) The service is fast and friendly and the pub has a great atmosphere.

chilli and lemon couscous, honey roasted salmon and a Mediterranean vegetable tortilla slice .... a lovely light lunch, fresh and delicious! A great idea, independent, local businesses - more of 'em please. Outstanding!

It is now the third occasion in the past three months that my wife and I have dined at the Greyhound. Consistency in the pleasant efficiency of the service is surpassed only by the excellent quality of the food. For my part, I am one of the most difficult persons to please, particularly in respect of 'Fish Dishes' and I would suggest that it would be a difficult challenge to meet in finding better anywhere in the Lune Valley.

Eaten here a few times, great pub atmosphere with excellent food and friendly service 10/10.

I can't recommend the Greyhound at Halton enough. It has a lovely welcoming atmosphere and the food is delicious. They use only the best local produce and you can really tell by the quality of their food. Try the fish and chips with the Greyhound's own beer batter and homemade chunky chips. Brilliant!

This is a gem of a place, found it by chance and have eaten there a few times. The food is excellent and very good value for money. Definitely one of my favourite places.

The food here is great the ice cream is outstanding and if you have room left try some of the homemade chocolates on sale! Well worth a visit.

Despite it's small interior, Etna boasts the friendliest staff in Lancaster. The food is modestly priced, with a varied selection of white, red, and even sparkling wine on offer to complement the dishes. The chicken was to die for, the veal outstanding, and the speciality dessert list (including pictures) finished off an exceptional evening. We will definitely be going back. Perfect for any occasion, cosy, unpretentious and exquisitely authentic.

i like the pudding house as it is modern! Love the ice-cream. The food was brilliant!
